i've come to this conclusion after spending a few months in 'fitness and bodybuilding' forums.
guys who try for that greek god physique are doing it for ego

I don't ever judge a guy when he walks in the room. If he's cute I'll acknowledge that in my head, but I don't go beyond that. Unless he's REALLY good looking, then I do a little mental happy dance because everyone likes eye candy.

Seriously though, with everything you can do to yourself these days, most women are attractive (during the day at least), and most men still aren't. You guys can't throw on some fake eyelashes and a pound of makeup and pretend to be pretty

THIS is why hot women end up with ugly men. Too much competition for the good looking ones unless the woman brings something special, besides looks, to the table.
