Read the responses. Nobody but myself has acknowledged that it isn't always the players' fault for not being in the NBA. Just read the responses Jeff.

Luck plays a MAJOR part in it. Sometimes you have to get lucky and catch a break. Just look at Raja Bell. There are a lot of guards in the D-League and Europe that have the skill set of Raja Bell, most which will never get the chance and the break to prove themselves like Raja Bell did. Like DC said, there just aren't enough opportunities for everyone.

Who even asked that question though?

Another good question is:
Are there players in the league who can easily be replaced?

The answer is a resounding yes.

Salim Stoudamire & Keith Langford were two of my favorite players in college

I'll throw in Wayne Simien. Mostly cuz I graduated from same HS & watched him during college. He retired from pro ball now but if he was maybe an inch or 2 taller, he'd be a solid 4. He was on the Heat when they won but got traded to a terrible Twolves team but just never got any PT behind Jefferson

You can honestly say it is Keith Langford's fault that he isn't in the NBA? No. The same way EVERYONE can't be successful in the real world, EVERYONE can't be successful in making the NBA. You all underestimate the power of luck. You really do. Because I just find it hard to believe that you all really think that anyone that is not in the NBA is at fault. It doesn't mean that they HAVE to have ego problems, or problems with attitude. It just means that someone else got a shot and they didn't.
Whoa Whoa Whoa hold on...

Ansu Sesay was the NBDL MVP and his numbers with the Sonics prove otherwise in some cases...just saying....

In professional sports for the most part, the cream does rise to the top.

Maybe there are a few stories out there of people with the talent to make it but doesn't but it should be treated the exception rather than the norm.

It's an insult to the players that they get there based on luck.  If someone makes it to the league who clearly doesn't belong then they'll get cut, sooner or later.

Word to A.I. now....I know so many ballers that definitely have the talent to run in the league. However, they lack mindset, work ethic, fundamentals, and straight up selfishness.
People dont understand that aside from superstar players like Lebron who pretty much had the red carpet treatment to get into this League, its much more than just talent. You have guys out there who arent that talented, but work hard day in and day out to be where they are at.
