Air Jordan VI Carmine confirmed for 2014

So, I always, because where I live, try to get my J's online.  But what is the deal with the codes?  I am guessing you have to have one to qualify to buy a pair?  Sorry for the dumb question, but I do not understand there use.
Basically these are codes used by Shiek for online raffles, so if you win, you can purchase from the store. It's to prevent employees from rigging the raffle (but I doubt it).

Thank God I was able to secure two guaranteed tix...put that work in...
Crazy in the DMV tryna score these...people in line soon as the mall opens for a 6pm release
Kids cutting school...crazy that cops aint escorting em out.... priorities all messed in today's society...

It's done by corporate, all the emails get sent out at the same time for all the stores. I have won 3 different raffles, and a couple of my folks have won raffles from different stores too.

Got me a pair on lock now I can sleep in. It's getting harder and harder out there!!!

Any one have OC sheik codes.. looked back to previous post but didn't see any

Really don't see the point of FTL's doing raffles without taking sizes. As a member of #TeamBigFoot, it makes me feel better when I only see 1 size 13 among all the names, as opposed to hundreds of names with no sizes attached to them.

So essentially, you apply for the raffle, if you win you get the code and you go to the store to purchase (or online)?  I've never been to a Shiek, lol.  ****, I am just an old school dude that goes online and gives it a go.  LOL

It's funny that people are against someone paying a little extra to grab a release early to avoid the madness associated with Jordan's but are ok with spending what is essentially the same amount of money driving around from point A-point B in order to enter into raffles for the right to purchase something that is available to the general public. The logic doesn't make sense. Also more power to the campers but there's no way I would go homeless for x amount of hours just for a pair of sneakers,iPhone, playstation or anything else for that matter. I'd rather just pay a lil extra to sleep in my bed late on a Saturday morning while the rest of the sneaker community is stressing over the madness. Just my 2 cents

Yes sir, you go on their website and enter the code, the code is associated to that particular store, you select your size at the time you enter in the raffle. Come Friday afternoon, if you are selected, you will receive an email stating you won and such and such store, and that you need to bring your confirmation code and a photo ID by 1pm to claim your pair. Or whatever the deadline is. :) Hope this helps.

It's no point if you dont have any Shiekh near you or around your area... You need to pick up the shoes in person in the store you won it at.

Well, I am about two hours outside of Glendale, but its good to know that there are other avenues out there.  I am just a dude that has been collecting these shoes since I was 15.  23 years later, I am still at it. lol.

Perfect breakdown i refuse to run around collecting raffle tickets or trying to cop online which is bogus. You have to pay your connect I'm not a kid I have the extra money to throw at mt connect!
But what if you have a TRUE connect that doesn't ask/demand an upfront fee?

I've hooked up my connect in the past because I wanted to out of thanks, not because I felt I had to.

Big difference.

Having options is always a plus!! My best friend is 38 and still collects shoes too. G'luck on your quest for the carmines man. :smokin

Basically the same way I look at it...."ITs YOUR $$$ do as U FEEL!" As for camping, wont even do that ish in the woods so sho As F wont do it on some sidewalk for 2 days! But same concept applies here..."Your TIME do as you FEEL!"

Entered a few raffles, demand seems even higher for these than Concord lows.

Anybody have word on any online releases at midnight? I work the day of the release and missed out on tickets/raffles.

Depends on how you look at it. How many cats would take that deal @ 4 something Saturday morning near the back of the line. Don't count another man's pocket you will be amazed how many people who aren't living check to check camping for shoes #ijs

I think if you are paying more than retail, you don't have a "connect". IMO, a connect is someone who will get you access to the shoes at retail price (or less). Like a brother or friend who works at a store and sets a pair aside for you to buy at retail or less. Or if it's an even quid pro quo, like the friend at footlocker sets a pair aside for you, while you work in men's department at Macy's and let him buy ralph lauren polos using your employee discount. That's a connect.

If you are paying someone at footlocker $50 to set a pair aside which you then pay retail for, that's not a connect, that's bribe.

That said, I have no hate at all for anyone willing to pay above retail for shoes nor do i think they are stupid for doing so. I won't, but if it's worth it to someone else to do so, more power. That's their preference.
