I can't believe it's been that long. I got 2 pairs of Toros and one pair of Shadows. In the long run, the Shadows retained more value when Toros. I always thought my pair of Toros would get me something I would want in a trade but I am barely getting that much over retail.

How is the quality in regards to defects: scratches, elephant smear, etc?

I don't mind paying $70 or retail to get them early if only they aren't likely to come with quality issues.

I'm glad they kept the swoosh off. The NA on the back is perfect. That's all that was needed. The big swoosh is meant to stay on the 1 only.
