Spartans were hunters, warriors, killers........Silverbacks are not even predators by nature, though in rare cases they have been known to eat smaller monkeys. They're not hunters, and they wouldn't have attacked in unison. The hypothetical denotes a change in intrinsic nature, and as I said if you're going to give the silverbacks an advantage by mitigating their need to constantly feed on vegetation for energy and sustenance and eliminate their propensity to quarrel amongst themselves for hierarchy then I reserve the right to change what intrinsic qualities the spartans had.


Spartans now have Halo spartan suits, Scar 17s and grenades.

Far more than the 300 that they are now poised to face.

Also if we're going to go OP's settings, and Thermopylae is indeed the setting. Realize that the Spartans had high ground vs Persian forces and would again have that same high ground vs these apes.
