This pair looks very promising and overall amazing honestly. I just need a good, well lit look at the heels to decide whether or not I should attempt to alter them on my pairs.

From what im seeing you should just leave them be as is. These are looking really good.

I likely will leave them as is now. Only reason I suggested the alteration was because a majority of the fake pairs posted looked like '14s with nike air, a monotone durabuck upper and an improved infrared shade. But finelines pair is. Likely won't need to do anything more than stare at and admire these for a while.

Amazing the difference in the shade of infrared from the 2014 there. I have been waiting for a comparison for a while now. These are def getting purchased.

For reference the last 2 shoes i copped were the Dominican AF1, in Nov, and before that, the Off-White UNC 1s

Y’all need to learn about camera lighting and set up. These are Durabuck in every picture. These are also not pink. The contrast is more visible in some lightings and angles than not. Aside from the vid mars posted, every pair posted recently is likely a retail pair with different lighting.

Fineline even darkened his pics a little to show a darker red if you look at it. He often does whatever he can to make people pay his high preorder prices. He knows the streets want Varsity Red, and his photo definitely makes them look close

I'm probably gonna get hella flack from this, but when it comes to retros, the 2014's "Infrared 23" shade, is the . Screw ALL thoughts, and opinions. The Infrared 23 shade, was the definition, of "POPPED"!!! I ABSOLUTELY loathe the nubuck, and they're uncomfortable, as ALL hell, but I'll be rockin' my 2014's, until they're beated, and I'll be keepin' my DS pair, too. For collection, and comparison purposes.​

Yeah man. As uncomfortable as they are, I'm STILL keepin' my worn 2014's, and my DS pair. You probably WON'T get anything, but retail, or lower now anyways.

As pink as the shade was (which is EXTREMELY exaggerated), when it comes to retros, it's STILL the GOAT. The shade on the 2019's, just looks to be regular red. Like you said though man, It's ALL lighting.​

Because I know the 2014 shade looks like when there’s flash on them. Not necessarily how it looks to the naked eye.
