Call me stupid for it but nah, I couldn't respect that, knowing he'll play GM/agent AND player, gut the front office out, handpick 5-6 guys to come with him, and win off politics/favoritism

Yeah because Melo has a great history of showing up to play winning basketball.There was a deal on the table for a Melo trade for Love and a few pieces right? And GM Bron turned it down?
I don't think it would of changed anything but damn at least Melo would of showed up
Stop. Melo has all of Love's weaknesses without the passing or rebounding.

I'd consider those trophies hollow though, just my perspective...Lakers, like the rest of the NBA, is a business...they're in it to win it and make money so they're gonna go with what benefits them
Me being true to my belief, I won't respect it, I wouldn't brag about a LeBron-led team, knowing what comes with that
