People give Bo too much credit for winning here. We could have had a plethora of coaches win 9 games a year with our money, facilities, and resources
True, people say we are not a top flight school :smh:  ridiculous, State of the art facilities, top notch education, tradition, best fans in the world. The most beautiful thick corn fed yambs :pimp:  No place like Nebraska! call me a homer, call me delusional, i don't care.

Bro, I miss those corn fed yammers.
Nebraska keeps the bunnies on deck.
Man, I almost got a woody in my sweats just typing that.

Man anybody who has been through in Nebraska knows.

I'm sure their are some ex-footballers on here that will attest to the NE birds from their road games.

People think Nebraska and imagine cornfields and Amish or something.

I did before I got there. Couldn't have been more wrong.

Nebraska is a top job though. I wouldn't waste my time arguing that boss.

Top 10, with the exception of a few Uni's who are shoe-ins, would come down to criteria and what you are judging that off of.

To blatantly argue for or against Nebraska in this case just seems like a waste.

If you put them top 10 you wouldn't be crazy for doing so.

If you didn't put them top 10 you wouldn't be crazy for doing so.

Personally I would go

Texas

ND

Alabama

LSU

Michigan

Florida

OU

Georgia

Ohio St

Nebraska

In that order

Oklahoma, LSU, Auburn and Georgia are better jobs. Probably Miami, TAMU, Oregon, Michigan and Penn State too.

Nebraska is in the middle of nowhere and can't recruit the west coast, Texas, or the south anymore. All you really have going for you are the stories of the Osborne years and your booster money. Until the B1G West as a whole gets more competitive I don't even know that the conference is a draw to anyone but midwest area kids.

So much of this.

That's why Riley is a good hire. He can recruit Texas (James and Jacquizz) and in the west
Maybe. During the USC reign in the mid-late 2000s and rise of Stanford and Oregon, Riley basically got locked out of the state of California. He was recruiting Southern California well when he had that "I was the OC of USC and coached the Chargers" clout, and that's how he built Oregon State up. That was so long ago though, no one remembers that anymore.

I don't know that it's fair to say "he can recruit the west." He wasn't doing too well at OSU. His highest recruiting class in the past 10 years was 39th. OSU regularly finished in the 50s.
