They've had cap room like three times in a decade. They missed on everyone 4 years ago because they all went to MIA. They missed on Deron who signed in BK with another star and had the ability to get two more.
The issue isn't Cuban or his perception. The issue is they have zero young talent and haven't had the cap flexibility or addets to get two guys together and sell a long-term plan.
You can sell Dirk's twilight and what? Zero young kids. No draft assets. Nothing to trade anyone. They're trying to build one piece at a time through FA, and that's just not the way you're gonna sell stars on coming here.
