2014 NBA Draft Thread

Smart is nowhere close to what Tyreke was his rookie year. Are we going to disregard the fact Reke came in and averaged 20, 5, & 6 his first year? 8o

I like Smart but he's not coming out the gates flourishing like Evans.

And he peaked his rookie year, he will never put up those stats again

He's still giving you 15, 5, & 5 on a team that has AD and Gordon. Never again? The last two months of the season he averaged 20, 5, & 6.

Larry Hughes numbers.

Meaning good in a stat sheet but terrible for winning basketball games.

If you're selling me the idea that Smart is coming out doing exactly what Reke did or better, I'm not buying it my dude :lol .. I like Smart, just don't trust his shot selection and decision making right now. I expect him to flourish once he puts it all together though.

I'm not trying to sell you on anything. You said Marcus is nowhere close to where reke was at in his rookie year, so I would like to know how do you know that? Considering the whole marcus' career hasn't even started yet thing...

Now we're bringing wins into the equation? I never said he was going to put the team on his back and carry you to a championship :lol

so wait you want Cancer Waiters on your team?!

No thanks

I can't say I particularly WANT him but I'm sure as **** not giving up 3, 10 and 32 just for one dude we're drafting off potential. We need another prospect out of that deal. MCW atleast is familiar with Waiters, and Bennett and Wiggins are Canadian buds. And according to our Canadian sources on NT he's in "awesome shape :hat"

The only player in the entire lottery that wont live up to anything or will let people down big time IMO is Vonleh.

I see nothing in him.

Why the hell would you be down for that?

Only way I'm trading 3, 10 AND 32 just for #1 is if they're atleast including Bennett or Waiters.

Because if they believe like I believe that Wiggins is a superstar it's well worth

to tyreke's defense, the kings had him play 1,2,3. the guy had no position. grant it, he has no jumper, but that organization was a mess. he was playing well the second half of the yr for the hornets.
if only the gm of basketball was free throw line and down, :lol

That's A LOT to give up for moving up 2 spots. I would hope Philly can grab the chucker Waiters in that deal so they don't have to start J-Rich next season.

@awwsome

Browns quarterbacks coach Dowell Loggains said in a radio interview Thursday that a text from Johnny Manziel during the draft helped inspire owner Jimmy Haslam to trade up for him. "We're sitting there and they keep showing Johnny on T.V. and Johnny and I are texting and he shoots me a text and he says, 'I wish you guys would come get me. Hurry up and draft me because I want to be there. I want to wreck this league together.' When I got that text, I forwarded it to the owner and to the head coach (Mike Pettine),"

Not aggressive when playing in games...but aggressive as hell when texting Tyronn Lue.

Another victim of sarcasm. Do you guys not watch the NFL or something?

Really want to see how Julius Randle look in league

His season at UK was a lot different from what he did great in HS Dude can make jumpers and is a really good passer

finishing at the rim over players his size or taller always been a problem tho

Could see the Lakers trading #7 for Rondo.

Rondo and Kobe would be best friends the moment Rondo says "I hate everybody too"

Marcus Smart is emerging as serious consideration for Utah with fifth pick, league sources tell Yahoo. Smart didn't workout for Jazz.
