2014 NBA Draft Thread

I'm with you. I think he can be a good backup PG (i.e. Luke Ridnour & Steve Blake). People think guys can't develop a shot anymore.

Ridnour was a 40% 3 point shooter at Oregon and Steve Blake is a god amongst men. (also a 40% shooter)

Both better ball handlers too, bad comps.

*Insert comparisons to  similar sized white point guards here*

Ridnour and Blake only shot 40% from 3 once in there college careers, and as far as overall FG%, Aaron Craft trumps them both. Craft can develop his shot just as they did.

You're not serious, Craft shot 30% the last two years, 30, from college 3 with a struggle handle and a terrible turnover %.

That's because he attempted less 3 pointers, attempted more 2 pointers, and got to the line more every year from his freshman to senior seasons. That still doesn't mean he can't improve his shot at the next level.

Speaking of Buckeyes..

Any LaQuinton Ross news? Is he going 1st round?

because I don't get why he left.

Would y'all trade a top 5 pick for Kawhi?

He'd require more than a top-5 pick, he'd require a couple 1st rounders.

He's only 22 (23 later on this month) and is already a top-5 player at his position with the potential to be top-3. Honestly....

IMO he'll be better than Melo & Paul George. He can put up crazy scoring numbers if he really wanted to, but he doesn't really need to. Ya'll will see one day, the boy is special.

And I think he'll remain better than both Wiggins and Parker. Book it.

Man...I hope ya'll don't do to Kawhi what ya'll did to Paul George.

Gas him beyond belief and then tear him down when he doesn't fulfill the unreal expectations everyone placed on him.

If you're saying Kawhi can be a top 3 SF...you're saying that in the near future he'll be directly under arguably the 2 best players in the world right now.

So KL is already a top 5 player at his position. Hmmm...Lebron,KD,Melo,PG, KL ?

No. Not yet at least. And then you're saying he has the potential to be right behind Lebron and KD? I don't know. We'll see. That would an incredible sight to see if this happens. I don't see it.
