I'm a big believer in SVG. I think he'll have Detroit competing for titles within two to three years. And it helps to have Drummond in the fold.

the pacers are going to magically morph into the team we thought they were.

hopefully this goes 7

I'm expecting a long series. The pressure is off the Pacers in some ways. They`re back in the Finals against the Heat with HCA, which is what they were trying to do all along. I think that alone will make them play better.

Scott brooks everyone:

"Weird that bad luck for the Thunder (Serge Ibaka’s calf injury) led to Scott Brooks hitting upon a lineup of Westbrook-Jackson-Durant-Collison-Adams that proceeded to go plus-18 over a 15-minute stretch. Weird that that lineup had played only five minutes together all season before last night."

Indy is looking scary though...if Wade ain't healthy come playoff time Heat will be getting eliminated!

$25 says that if Indy and Miami play in the post season, Miami wins in 6 or less...let me know.

Yeah I'll put my money up knowing Wade is hurt lol yeah I'm down

flyerthandelta flyerthandelta

I'll give you a chance to back out now if you want.

Lol I think it's clear who is winning the chip already any bball Gawd in they right mind wouldn't pick Indy after these last few rds they've been playing. I will say this though I got y'all winning it all since the East was a cake walk and Wade ain't been limping but the only team I can see killing the Heats dreams is Coach Pop, funny thing is Okc is the Spurs Kryptonite they not even getting past OKc so pretty much the chip waiting in y'all laps 8)

Pacers always play the Heat well.

Pressure is on the Pacers IMO, Heat have beaten them twice, Pacers have home court and this was supposed to be there year.

OKC has been to the WCF 3 times in 4 years with one of those years being the Westbrook injury year. LAC has never been once :rollin

This is when the NBA gets wack, they spread out the games way to much. Playoffs shouldn't last 2 months.

the difference between chris paul and an actual generational talent in KD

CP3 is out of passes, he's fraud status now. All the help in the world and never has even reach the 3rd round? :lol

I believe last night at the press conference a reporter asked CP3 if he his goal for next season is to get out of the 2nd round.

CP3 will start to feel the pressure soon, because this year he literally has 0 excuses. He has a "world renowned" head coach and all the help a player can ask for in a team. If CP3 doesn't feel pressure, then IDK who does.

And don't give me that BS of him being a PG so his job is to get others involved. That's the most short-sighted excuse I've ever heard given to a player.

:rollin at people throwing stuff at Ed Malloy. The worst ref behind Joey Crawford.

Until Chris Paul actually does something with his career, he is no longer considered a superstar or best PG in the league.

It's really amazing how low he's been flying under the radar his entire career. The man's middle name should be "consistency". Before people come in a say he's a "product of the system"--Tony Parker is a point guard in Pop's system. Which is probably the most strict basketball system in the league. It's not easy playing in that system, let alone being the leader and facilitator of the system.

what exactly warrants a pass these days to yall? why is it rings for some people but conference finals for others? or playoff performances vs awards for others.

should we slander Joe Johnson the same way we slander Blake this year even though they statistically played pretty damn well in the playoffs? does Deron Williams deserve more slander than CP3 because of his massive falloff? Or because he made the WCF ONCE is he above slander?

CP3 could not guard Westbrook, the Clippers could not match up with OKC. It's nothing more than that. Doesn't make him overrated, it was just a bad matchup.

It's because Tony Parker doesn't rule the 'advanced statsheets.' I'm sure someone will come in here with Clutch 2PT% indexing or some crap to defend CP0.

Tony just WINS. :hat

If only Joe Johnson was on my TV every 20 minutes in a Kia commercial...

Oh, wait, no one gives a **** about Joe Johnson.

Chris Paul is not a winner. He's not even Jim Kelly status -- at least Jim Kelly made the Super Bowl. Chris Paul is Andy Dalton.

Game 2 of Pacers-Heat is on Tuesday and Game 3 isn't until Saturday. :x

Seems like they are trying to have something on T.V., for Monday night of a holiday weekend. If it went the traditional every other day and was a sweep, series would be over on Saturday, with nothing on T.V. for a day most people are off.
-Anyone remember when the NBA was on NBC and the Memorial day game would come on @ 2p.m.? Shows how times and ratings have changed. Would be heated during the last Bulls 3 peat when I would get home from school and catch the last half of the 4th quarter.

Is it this or that? How about this, cp3 doesn't have ANYTHING, none of those things. He's melo status
