So the stat held up after all Clippers blew a 16 pt lead today.

Teams that blow 15+ point leads and lose the game, end up losing the entire series 29 out of the 38 times it has happened in the past twelve years. Only 9 teams have won a series after losing a game by blowing a 15+ lead. The thunder have done it twice this year against the clippers and a couple years back vs the grizzlies

You can come up with any arbitrary stat and have it "hold up". Also, this "stat' negated itself in this series because both teams blew 15+ point leads. Somebody has to win lol.

I hate stats for this reason. Lawyers are great at finding stats that hold true when trying to get their clients off for their guilty crimes.

Stats are garbage to me in cases like this

If the Pacers return to their elite defense and Roy Hibbert snaps out of his Space Jam-esque funk... as soon as they face Miami, it'll be hilarious.

I kind of hope it happens so it's a competitive series (and so I don't have to keep hearing about Miami cake walking to the Finals

)

On the other hand, if they get demolished, the odds of a David West-Lance Stephenson fist fight mid-court would only increase.

I'm expecting the Pacers to ratchet it up Miami.

They've been obsessed with Miami since the start of the season "We want the #1 seed." "We'll beat the Heat if we're #1" etc. etc.

I think they'll be focus. They got exactly what they wanted, now it's time for them to show and prove.

All that said, I wouldn't be surprised if the Pacers got debacled by 20+ on Sunday.

Clippers gonna clip. Another season over another empty case. So all the teams 90% of us had penciled in the conference finals are in the conference finals. Smh not 1 upset this year

Couldn't be prouder of the Wizards. Amazing season and the future is bright for the team. I'm not even mad about them losing the series. They had their chances, but the Pacers experience and overall cool in the final couple minutes of the game(s) is what ultimately decided the series. Oh well...big offseason for DC, but I actually have cautious optimism that the right decisions will be made for the betterment of the team going forward.

That laker shadow messes with them.

Got them too insecure to hang Divison champs banners because of how they feel it will be perceived compared to their more successful co tennant at staples despite the fact that successful teams like the bulls and spurs hang them up. The whole covering the lakers banners again reeked of insecurity to me as well. They should hang their division champs banners since it is an accomplishment for them and not worry about the lakers.

San Diego or Anaheim would be good for them but sterling or whoever else probably wouldn't do it because its more money to be made in LA.

SD won't even build the chargers a stadium, I doubt they would build the clippers one.
