good pull, shaw was an elite defender, could shoot enough to keep the defense honest.
kings need a shawn marion, or Chris Bosh.

Put yourself in that GM's shoes why leave it to chance knowing your not gonna get one of the projected superstars in this draft... Yet you have a 22 yr old ALL Star caliber player in Jrue holiday .... who's proven he can play well on both sides of the ball and has just as much potential as those in the draft. To top it off they got him for about 10$ a season which is GREAT for a young All Star PG
There is nobody in this draft after the 5th pick who's is going to be that much better than JRUE IMO
Had he done the trade for a 28-30 yr old PG then i could see why it was a bad trade but bringing in Holiday for a pick was great. Now signing Gordon & then signing Tyreke was dumb.

I can't even begin begin to think about how bad the team would get losing their second best player for the likes of Dion Waiters.

im a w's fan and dont understand why fans knock him. he is a consistent 20/10. his contract is a little hight and his defense is lacking but who doesnt have trouble on defense on the w's?
third team all nba and an all star last yr. if ya want lee gone, who are you gonna replace him with?

As of now the only person who seems to fall out of the top 5 with All star potential is Smart.... He's a year-2 younger than Jrue max. Difference is you KNOW what Jrue can do and he had his best season being the focal point of an entire NBA offense. When you have AD their you can't chance it especially when the position your talking is PG. And to top it off he's making far from max money, I loved that they locked Holiday up early and i believe if they weren't dealing with so many injuries they would be fighting for 7th 8th.
The only dumb moves made by this franchise were signing both Reke & Eric Gordon, fortunately for them both of those players can be moved and aren't CRIPPLING contracts

By no means am i saying that that reported Cavs trade was good i was just going on the point of him being Elite which he isn't... but for this team as constructed they aren't bringing in anyone better in a trade.

You are acting as if the proposed trade is simply for Dion Waiters. Its not. Its for Deng. The Barnes/Waiters part seems to just be the secondary part of it. I dont think Waiters is as bad as you guys do, but I am not willing to lose Barnes for him.....even if it rids us of Lees contract. If the trade offer was just Deng for Lee, I would jump on that in a heartbeat. And the bolded is simply ridiculous. I wont even get into it.
And @FinallyFamous, thanks for the link....but the link you sent me is useless. Its not a trade rumor. It is simply an article that reaffirms the trade idea that Tim Kawakami (bay area writer), THINKS would be a smart trade for the Warriors.

If i'm the warriors i'm only trading Barnes for a legit 4/5 Man, because bogut isn't reliable as far as health goes and if they go far in the playoffs they need someone to protect the interior play good Defense
Question for W fans would you trade Barnes and a combo of picks for The pistons Greg Monroe ?
That seems to work out in both teams favor... Monroe can play either the 4/5 and can step into the starting role next season.
