the Cavs would seriously turn their franchise in the right direction with that trade

Barnes for Waiters would be :hat

I don't think that trade will ever happened.

Warriors big men would be so weak :lol

AD isn't there offensively to be considered the best 4 in the game. Dirk and Lamarcus have proven themselves to be the main cog of an entire offense. Blake is getting close to being that guy. AD isn't there yet.

Can you run consecutive post clear outs for AD and he carry your through a 4th quarter? No. He shows the potential but he's shooting poorly in post situations and isn't a great spot up shooter.

That pick they traded to Philly is top 3 protected right?

5?

they probably sending the Sixers like the 11th pick which probly wont be a star player anyway

Players that landed in the 10-15 range since 2005:

05-Andrew Bynum
06-JJ Redick
07-Thadeus Young
08-Brook Lopez
09-Brandon Jennings
10-Paul George
11-Klay Thompson/Kawhi Leonard
12-Jeremy Lamb
13-MCW/Greek Freak

As you can see there is definitely star power in that range if they strike right

You can make that list outta alotta draft positions, doesnt mean anything cuz its all luck anyway once you out of the top 3-5 prospects

AD's defensive impact + his 20 points makes him more valuable than Dirk/LMA though. I would only take Blake and depending on my teams make up, Love over AD.

He's already made a nice step forward on offense in his second year in 2-3 more years he will be the best two way big in the league bar none.

Ehhh maybe 10 years ago it was all luck, but now if you have the right scouts you can draft right. I refuse to believe drafting outside the top 5 is all luck.

Orrr he could plateau and never improve past what he is today. Which, still wouldn't be bad at all. Would be an all star.

I think AD's potential is through the roof though. (And I hate the world "potential") Like he isn't even a complete player yet and is already affecting the game on both ends of the floor at an elite level. He's only in his 2nd season! That's wild

you got to be able to evaluate talent. there's gms like larry bird who knows how to pluck them and then there's mj and david kahn >D

Anthony Davis blocks a lot of shots and will be a top 5 player in the league in due time but right now he hasn't figured out how to apply his skill towards winning baskeball.

he is the anchor of a bottom 3 defense, the team is only 3 points worse when he's off the court, there really any metric that has Anthony Davis as an elite defender, the idea that he's the best power forward in the league is quite frankly ridiculous.

His lack of defensive impact could be due to Monty Williams scheme.

Dirk and Kevin Love are clearly better. BG, LMA are debatable but likely better if im being honest.
