This spurs team and the '12 Ravens share so many similarities.

Losing the year before in heartbreaking fashion. Spurs in game 6, and Ravens in AFC chip game with the dropped gw td, and missed 30 yard field goal. Then to redeem themselves by beating a flashier more athletic team.

Kawhi-Flacco: Not quite "elite" but good young players who got hot at the right time and earned finals/Super Bowl MVP

Duncan-Ray Lewis: The embodiment of the team. Leaders. Been the franchise player from Day 1. Riding off into the sunset.

Manu-Ed Reed. Wild, Great players who's talent is fading.

He put up 31 5 and 10. And sat out half the 4th quarter because his team was still being blown out. What there suggest kawai played better/ the series ended the way it did. If you actually watched the series from a basketball point of view LeBron got what he wanted . He even dropped 19 in a quarter alone. Role players is what won this series for the spurs not a single man's defense.

This is the things i can't deal with... Lebron didn't get what he wanted all series, he RARELY got to the basket or the line, Wasn't able to draw those double teams for open shots to his teammates, Got lil to No fastbreak buckets etc etc.... his entire game was changed.

And i would also like to point out the moments when he went on these scoring attacks usually were Stopped after a few minutes and when the spurs start going on a run those baskets weren't there.

It isn't all Lebrons fault but let's not look at the stats of a bunch of blowout games and act as if he played GREAT basketball because that's far from the truth, Lebron entire game was changed in this series and he does deserve some of the blame.

Who flip flopped?

Anyone who was singing wades praises all playoffs and now says he's trash. Same could be said for the rest of the team. "Chalmers > Rhondo talk, cole world, bird man bird man, Jesus shuttlesworth goat shooter, bosh > gasol" now all of a sudden the while team sucks, bron does it all alone

chalmers should've never been a starting pg on that team. riles gets a lot to blame there for not bringing in an efficient combo guard.

miami two chips arent even as impressive now

played a young okc team

got lucky last year getting to game 7

like do they even have a legacy together? or did they just band up for 4 years?

I would think if there is one person not scared of backlash from fans, it would be Pat Riley but with a contract like Wade's even if you wanted to do something you can't.

spurs ball a thing of beauty. hope kids watching at home and want to play like that. pass and share
kawhi gonna have kids wanting to get braids and play defense :nerd:

The real issue is that even Kevin Durant is feeding into the over rating of Paul George. Been saying it all year, Kawhi Leonard is on his level, he has the talent, he's just not seeing the same amount of usage. George's offensive game is very limited and Kawhis just as good of a defender and a better rebounder.

His game just isn't as flashy as PGs. No 360 dunks. Fade away Kobe jumpers. Nothing like that really.
