Sergio is a one style fighter. All he's looking for is a counter straight left hand. He doesn't hook, shoot uppercuts, nothing with the left hand. Darren Barker has laid down the blueprint to defeat Martinez.

Yup.
And ive noticed that watching him in his last couple fights. Hes a counter-puncher, and styles make fights.
His last fights were with brawlers, so of course he felt right at home. But u cant really counter punch tactical fighters as much....especially if they crowd u. It's going to be interesting to see him in his future fights with this blueprint laid out.

Barker to his credit makes this fight hard for Martinez due to the fact that he's not taking chances and fighting defensive.

But just imagine if he fights someone who is willing to trade but with more strategy.
A fight with him and Mayweather will be interesting. Being that they have similar styles in counter punching.

Seems like Barker took a dive out of the fight. He didn't look hurt at all. The punches were blocked.

^ I didnt say he would win. I said it would be interesting to see them fight. I would like to see May fight Sergio rather than take a pansy fight with Amir Kahn or Andre Berto.
