Ortiz proved he was delusional when he said Maidana never knocked him down

In an exclusive interview with The Desert Sun, WBO light welterweight champion Timothy Bradley told The Desert Sun that he signed a promotional contract with world-renown Top Rank Promotions and is booked to fight on the undercard of the Manny Pacquiao-Juan Manuel Marquez fight on Nov. 12 in Las Vegas.

Bradley, a Cathedral City resident, is scheduled to fight veteran Joel Casamayor, who has fought toe-to-toe with the likes of Marquez, Diego Corrales and Robert Guerrero. The 40-year-old Casamayor is also the 1992 Olympic gold medalist, but has gone 2-2 in his last four fights, losing to Guerrero and Marquez.

“I’m just so happy. I don’t know what to say man. I’m so excited,

Bradley should have taken that Khan fight. Signing with Top Rank wasn't a good look either.

I just didn't like how he called out Khan, got a lot more money than Khan could have offered and still balked at it

I know his issue with Gary Shaw was going on but that's a lottttt of money for someone who isn't a ticker seller to turn down.

I agree I see Bradley is taking that Jermain Taylor route when he fought Kassim Ouma and Cory Spinks instead of legit contenders.

This move pretty much guarantees we see Bradley vs. Pacquiao next year (a fight I don't see Bradley winning at all, unless Manny's talent starts to drastically deteriorate)...
Only in a sport as twisted as boxing will we get Bradley vs. Pacquiao and Mayweather vs. Khan before we get the two fights from those four fighters that actually makes sense...

And I guess Bradley and management made the right move ducking Khan if their goal was a big fight and pay day (even though calling out Khan  and not fighting was some ho $%*%)...

Khan offered him 50% of the UK money and this cat still walked away...

Personally hope Casamayor pulls off the upset, but we all know that fight is gonna end via headbutt leading to a cut.

P.S. What the hell is the appeal in Bradley/Pacman? And y'all thought Floyd/Ortiz was a wash...

^Basically I don't see how people would even consider that a big fight. Who has Bradley beat without a headbutt cut? If I was Manny promoter I'd laugh at Bradley. But hey you know Top Rank will put a spin on things and make it seem like Bradley is a likely challenge.

What a disgrace!  So the ref lets the fight go when Yoan first gets cut (more blood and looked worse) but when it looks like Steve was about to take complete control of the fight he stops the fight because of the cut (blood wasn't getting in Yoan's eyes or anything) and it goes to the cards. Yoan and his corner are punks for that one.  They knew he was on his way to an L and took the wrong way to get the W.
