Still, Houston made out like bandits if:

1) Yao can stay healthy
2) Martin can stay healthy
3) The Knicks don't get LeBron or Wade

Those are HUGGGEEEE "ifs." Those players werent able to stay healthy 1 full year yet. We wont know who got the better end of the deal yet. Only time will tell. But i'm pretty sure the 2 picks will be late 1st round picks

Walsh got cap room and nothing else. Not as bad as what Isiah did, but he's still under a ton of pressure to make something happen this summer so that they don't have a bad product and no picks.

Still disappointed the Lakers didn't address their gaping hole at point. The Lakers are weaker at point guard than any other contender (top 4 in East; top 8 in West) is at any other position according to 82games.com. Only other team that comes close is San Antonio at PF.

We still got the last hour, time for desperate moves to happen by the Bulls....

 Homers FTL.
A) The Celts actually want Nocioni.
B) Thomas would just be a filler, as he is an expiring contract.
C) Boston is unsure whether or not they want to keep Ray Allen around.

You sir are an idiot.

Ummmm.... NO! While we do need to trade Kirk, will not do anything stupid to do so, which includes that Sasha/Morrison trade your fellow fans keep throwing out

I've been saying it for months, Cake, Hinrich ain't goin nowhere.

I know you want your two max players, but that aint gonna happen.

CP-

Gallo
Chandler
Douglas
Curry

Those are who the Knicks will have still under contract once free agency hits.

Donnie set out with a plan.

He's not going off course.

I respect it. It's a gamble but one that can pay off, big.

I probably wouldn't even do that deal even if you guys bought Ray out.

What a greasefire.
As long as they have money to spend this summer its all good. Its not like they thought they were playing win anyway this season. They will have players come next season. Picks can always be acquired.

Do you know who you're talking about?!?! The MACHINE, he doesnt miss, and helloooo, Ammo, cmon, you guys cant go wrong with this deal! Mitch will do his magic.

Johnson won't take the same money to go from a contender to a pretender.

Amar'e is looking to pair up with Wade so neither of them is going to NY.

If Wade goes, he'd rather go to Chi with Rose/Deng/Noah than NT with Gallo/Chandler/?.

Bosh? He'll stay put or go somewhere in a sign-and-trade.

NY is going to wind up empty handed and w/o picks. I'd bet $ on it...if I had $ to bet.

NobleKane, Fish wants to play at least another year. Hinrich would take away his minutes. The Lakers need better chemistry more than they need a PG, but a PG seemed like the more attainable goal.

Ya, I want the Kings to try and trade for pieces and not just expiring contract. Small market teams trying to attract FA FTL

Cavs are the favorite to win imo, but if they don't they ++$%+% themselves by signing Jamison a 33 year old PF, who has a ton of mileage and multiple years at a heavy price.  The Knicks and Cavs have both gone all in imo, and the question of where LeBron goes will depend on what happens in the playoffs.

The Celtics are thinking about trading Ray Allen so they can get a young, athletic scorer.....but yeah....they want Andres Nocioni.  I understand Thomas is an expiring contract.  But the Celtics only make the Allen trade if they are still competitive this year, and can get younger.  Your idea does neither for them.  Its not like the Celts are DYING to make a trade to get Allen off the books.  He is still a key part of a team that is one of the better ones in the NBA.
Yet I'M the idiot.
