I'm assuming it was just the Best Buy I went to but the album was not on display at all, maybe they forgot...but I had to ask one of the employees if they received the album and he pulled a copy out from the backroom

Samsung purchased a million Rihanna albums and gave them away for free as promotion for the Samsung S7. So Rihanna technically did sell 1 mil, Jay Z did the same deal with Samsung a few years ago.
