Some of those (I’m definitely thinking Jim, KD and Kai) have player options though, right?

Still mad they lost to those Wisconsin dweebs.

Calipari and his infatuation with the Harrison Twins. :smh:
I totally forgot about the Harrison Twins :wow: They had no turbo boost and no wiggle. Terrible combo.

You’re talking about the 15 squad though, right? With Book, KAT n em?

Yep that's right: KAT, Book, WCS, Harrison Twins, Ulis, Trey Lyles.

That one year rule was put in place for dudes like the Twins.

Looking back it's still funny that he only got a title out of that AD team which wasn't probably a top 3 UK team during that run talent wise.

Harrison twins are an example of what happens when you’re not ready to go to the league but go to Kentucky. Not sure who came after them, but they were likely McDonald’s all Americans.

Those one and done filled squads aren't built for the tourney.

He's a master at what he does which is giving elite prospects the perfect platform before jumping to the league which ends up producing plenty of NBA talent but he leaves much to be desired in terms of building winning CBB squads.

Most of these title winning squads usually have experienced cores leading the way that have been together more than 1 year. There's the exception to the rule , like Melo's 'Cuse squad, that '12 squad and Duke their last time but those are just that, exceptions.

We do this every off-season where we preview free agency for the next two or three years and highlight potential free agents only for almost all of them to resign with their current team. I remember When summer 2021 was supposed to be a a huge free agency summer only for everyone to resign a year in advance
