That said his agent did him dirty, should've tried to get him a contract extension in the 4 year/$40M range instead of pushing for something stupid like what Al Horford got.

That said his agent did him dirty, should've tried to get him a contract extension in the 4 year/$40M range instead of pushing for something stupid like what Al Horford got.

In hindsight this makes sense. But when you are averaging 28 ppg and were in the Eastern Conference finals..it's hard to argue that his value was sky high at the time. He should have thought about his long term health before going all out like that...it's why he was a fan favorite though...

Last year the Celtics could've and should've signed Dwight Howard before the Lakers did.

Lakers sign Dwight and he helps them become champs with his aggressive play in the playoffs against Nurkic, Whiteside, Jokic, and Bam.

This year the Celtics have the opportunity to once again add an impact big in Boogie Cousins once he is released by Houston.

Ainge will likely fail again and bypass Cousins, allowing another contender like the Lakers, Nets, Clippers, to pounce.

But if Boogie goes to Boston, maybe Ainge will save his own job.

Not gonna happen tho cause Cousins coming back to LA
