France were the better team for me in the game yesterday. Thought they should have had at least one more counter attack goal. Belgium had some chances though. If they would have snuck a goal in i assume they would have packed it in and played for PKs.

I thought Matuidi played really well. Constantly tracked back on defense and was disruptive in the midfield and drew a ton of fouls. Giroud was poor though. I like the thought of having a big CF up there to win and hold it up and let Mbappe and Griez work off, but he was not good yesterday def would have been better with almost anyone else.

Pulling for Croatia as the under dog today even though i honestly don't care who wins.

Txiki has been takin hard line stances recently about not being take for a ride. Not every great player can become a great coach but it seems Thierry is doing really well in his role with Belgium.

Martinez had gushed about him on many occasions & so have the players especially Hazard & Lukaku.
