Zoom Kobe 8 system NikeID thread ***NO SET DATE (yet) WHEN THESE WILL BE TAKEN DOWN***

Maybe people have realized how great of a shoe the VIII is and decided to pull triggers on iDs. As long as my come in within the time frame given and there are no problems with them ill be happy. Just need to fast forward a month haha
 
i got the started email same day as the order received email. Still awaiting for the finishing touches email any day :smh:
 
liking these. only thing I can think of using the upper pattern. I can't find the kobe vi avatars so I am contemplating getting these

i placed my order on the 27 and thats when they started hopefully i will get them this week. i got my systems today they were basically frozen when i got them. so i let them warm up before i tried them on and i feel that i could of got away with a 12.5 instead of my 13 but its all good
 
^ Thats what I'm waiting for. New pattern like on the sulphurs or the red YOTS, solid uppers, anything other than this snake print.

Come on Nike, 3M swooshes, borders for swooshes, different patterns, MAKE IT HAPPEN!
 
Anyone see the cryptic tweet from @NikeID about new exotic options, and some snake looking icon? Is that something for the Kobe's, or some other/all IDs?
 
Still no start email just the received your order one. Must be a large influx of orders on iD for the VIIIs...
 
Must be because I still haven't got my shipped email after getting the order almost being done on the 12th.

That's the same logo that's on the Huarache 2K4 YOTS. Snake skin patterns perhaps? I hope it's for Kobes and not for the Spiz'ikes or AF1s :x

9th - Ordered Free's and Kobe's
10th - Got started email
11th - Contacted Nike they said my Kobe had estimated ship date of 1/28
12th - Got almost done email for Kobe
13th - Contacted Nike to make sure it was for the Kobe since the Free tracking # was already listed and was assured it was (said the shoes should ship by the 19th)
15th - Shipped Free email
21st - Free's arrive
22nd - No information on why no tracking for Kobe - I contact customer service and they now claim the email for almost done was for the Free - Estimated ship date for Kobe is now 2/7!

Speaking of options,why kobes rarely get the
Gold options?correct me if im wrong but last time they had it was on the Vs id..
 
Funny, I spoke to a Nike Rep while I was waiting at the DMV (which absolutely sucked) but they told me my pair is set to ship out on 2/26. I thought it was weird because I haven't even gotten the e-mail saying we have started building your design or whatever. The rep explained that it can take a few days after order is put in, so I was going to ask her how she knew when it would be shipped (an exact date a month from now for shipping but you don't even know if the shoes are being built yet?) but decided not to sound like a crack fiend.

I'll just wait and one day hopefully I am surprised at the front door (but really yall know I'll be checking like every other day).
 
im already inpatient and its only been a few days

i wanted these already since i started to play ball already and these are my first VIII's

I thought the green snake print looked close enough to gator skin, so this is what I came up with for my Gators.

Now its time to forget about them because its going to be a long and painful wait.

Has anyone here gotten an iD pair w/ XDR that also owns a pair of sulphurs, xmas, etc?

The XDR from nike iD is visibly different from the 'GC' XDR versions.  It feels pretty solid but I don't have another pair to compare it too.  Just wondering if the non-XDR outsole is definitely softer and anyone can confirm.

Any help would be appreciated.
 
^Good work with the gators.  I think those will be excellent in person.  Mine have the same green upper
 
that Gator pair was executed well with the green scales, can't wait to see real pics of those.
 
Just spoke with NDC. Ordered mine on the 27 w/the 'Shoes started' email on the 28th and the guy told me that sounds about right and I should be getting my 'finishing up' email soon. Alright 'Chris' from NDC...I'm counting on ya! Next week makes FOUR weeks!?!? *fingers crossed*
