Ok, so I took DCAA's advice and downloaded all of the Steve Austin podcasts. Honestly, it's pretty boring. Its only saving grace is when Austin interviews Sonnen, Terry Funk, and Kevin Nash. The rest is boring. The Fly vs Austin and Mani Pedi episodes are awful.

So the WWE decides to re-introduce a former tag team champion with a new name and basically the same look and gimmick that he had before. The only major difference is that he has a great manager now. There are some delusional people running things there :smh:

In the past when there was less technology and social media available they went to greater heights to hide the identities of wrestlers when they were repackaged. Or if they changed their gimmick I remember that some of them even stayed with their same names and they just gave some kind of explanation for their gimmick change.

But now in the era where all the fans know everything, they expect a different reaction for someone by just changing their name. I bet that most people watching remember that he was basically a jobber.

Don't you realize that wrassling fans have a very short memory? Most can't remember anything past 6 months so they have no idea who this guy is. :D

Didn't even see those. The hell is wrong with DDP "letting" them smoke

Jake Roberts had a lot more demons than just smoking cigs.

As you see in a lot rehabs, cigarettes are still allowed as you ween off of all the hard stuff. Its way too hard to quit EVERYTHING at once. First the crack, then the alcohol, then the cigs.

NFL players would make more as practice players than they would in the WWE. Not sure why they'd quit unless they were absolutely done with football.

When in doubt, make a tag team match

A good amount of players simply can't play from an injury that just makes them lose a step on the NFL level, but still able to compete in something like wrestling. So yeah, they'd most likely be completely done with football.

The AVERAGE NFL player only does 2 years in the league tops. I think thats who the WWE will be targeting.

They remembered Prince Albert

How old are HHH/Steph's children nowadays that they might be involved in the storyline?

- As noted, the May 20th WWE RAW did a 2.97 cable rating for 4.32 million viewers.

In the segment breakdown, Chris Jericho and The Miz vs. Fandango and Wade Barrett lost 360,000 viewers. Sheamus vs. Titus O’Neil gained 206,000, which is a very good gain for a match like that. Paul Heyman introducing Curtis Axel gained 365,000 viewers. The rest of that segment with Triple H coming out gained 13,000 viewers at 9pm for a 3.10 quarter rating.

Big E Langston vs. Alberto Del Rio and Layla vs. AJ Lee lost 47,000 viewers but that could be considered a success. Cody Rhodes vs. Zack Ryder and Ryback’s appearance lost 358,000 viewers. Kofi Kingston, Kane and Daniel Bryan vs. The Shield in their lengthy match gained 290,000 viewers for a 3.03 quarter rating.

Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger gained 237,000 viewers. The main event with Triple H vs. Curtis Axel gained 551,000 viewers for a 3.44 quarter rating in the overrun.
This right here is proof why WWE needs to start new feuds.   Titus vs Sheamus was new and fresh and it brought in more viewers even though Titus is jobber most of the time.

Damn you didn't like the Mani Pedi one? Man that was pure comedy.

The fly wasn't that funny to me when he started talking AS the fly.

But anyone hear the Woodpecker episode he put out this week? Hahahahah

Also he has one up with Jim Ross

Cesaro is wrestling Tatsu.
