Wrestling Thread 11/9-12/14 | Dec 13 WWE TLC - Sheamus (c) vs Roman Reigns TLC WWE Title Match

You are biased tk whatever you have emotional attachments to.

I grew up on Nes, SNES, Genesis, Ps1, N64, Ps2.

Everything after that came when I was an adult. Those things didn't mean as much to me.

I have more emotional attachment to Tecmo Super Nba Basketball than any of the 2k games. That isn't me saying Tecmo is better though.

Plus I wouldn't compare games of different eras. Like why do that?

When I compare games if different generations... It's never about game play or graphics... It's about the satisfaction of playing and beating a game...

I'm not picky when it comes to games. As long as I'm entertained, that's all I care about

I'm a 90's fetishist to the core (I have Jet Li's The Denfender on in the background) but people that can't appreciate the past with the present might be some of the most annoying people around. **** isn't a mutually exclusive decision. I can appreciate Gunstar Heroes the same way I can appreciate Uncharted.

Was just talking about how great of a game SOR2 was. Me and my dude used to play that game front to back, 3x a week, for about 3 years.

That soundtrack gives me that 80s Disco, vibe that most 80s music gives me. It is hard to verbalize but the sounds used during that time period just give me chills man.

Yea, of course.

Listening to a podcast right now and they are talking about how loserish dudes are that buy wrestling belts.

That's kinda like the argument that grown men shouldn't be wearing jerseys of their favorite sports teams. F it. I own football, basketball and baseball jerseys.

That was his argument. Sure dudes were tougher...but could they dribble with both hands? Or even deal with the speed (game and player) of todays game? Also depends on if clotheslines equal 2 free throws, or an ejection. (As in current or archaic rules) Many factors have to be taken into account Case.

I'm pretty sure Jordan, Clyde, Isiah, Magic, Larry, Reggie, and John could dribble with both hands..And the only reason today's NBA is "faster" is because there's no physicality..You can't slow someone down if you can't breath within 5 feet of them..I feel like dudes from the 80-99 could easily adapt to today's game, but I don't think today's player could adapt to the more physical/harder game of yesteryear..

Any of y'all remember these?

Comparing basketball players of different eras is worse than comparing wrestlers of different eras. Different eras, different rules.

Max for NES, I was up to 26. Made sure they were in ABC order. I had a case that had slots for each game.

Games that I enjoyed that I felt were low-ki

Silent Service

Wizards and Warriors 2 and 3

Hoops

The troll is strong with you..

i ended up with 75-100 nes carts & had all of those except 'kid niki'

I think between me and my brother we had about 40-50 games..I remember the Christmas we got the NES Advantage controller..We was unstoppable against any kid in the neighborhood with that bad boy..

Overall, I think I had the most emotional attachment to my SNES. The SNES vs. Genesis wars were something else man. Like today, EYE don't see the point of owning both a PS4 and XBOX 4, the systems don't have that many exclusive titles. Back during the SNES vs. Gensis days, there were so many exclusives. ANd hell, the SAME game was different if it was released on both systems. (See Lion King and Power Rangers).

But if you want to turn this into a Theme Song post. This is another song that gives me that dark 80s/90s music that puts me in a mental mood that I can't describe
