Who else hates Apple with some sort of passion?

I don't see why people think Apple Laptops are overpriced. There are laptops that cost way more than Apple computerS. Toshiba Quisimo(sp) is like $2,000. People see Apple computers expensive cause they clearly can't afford it, and rather go with the option that most cost effective for them, a inexpensive computer. Apple gives you a 100% products that actually has the software working with the hardware, reason why the OS X is really good. Windows 7 is great OS, but its still lacking compatibility issues with certain hardware, why you think you can't find the proper drivers for a printer or a simple usb its usually both the OS and the software thats implemented in the hardware. OS X already has drivers inside the OS, so you don't have to worry about finding the driver for yourself. I've own many hi-end computers both PC and Macintosh, certain software works better on one os and the other lacks it, this also applies to the hardware. PC computers do have better hardware performance such as graphics cards, processors and connections however that hardware is not fully used to its potential cause the OS can't keep up with it. Apple does use older hardware and reason behind is because they value longevity on the battery life. A mac battery can last up to 10 years with out worrying of keeping charge all the time, a PC battery usually last up a 1 year or 2 depending on the user, so that means you have shell out about $80 to $100 on new battery every year. The reason why PC computer becomes infected with a viruses cause its usually the PC user fault, use the proper precautions and stop downloading porn or keep using LW.

Apple rather put there advertising dollar on consumer products like Ipod touch, Iphone4 and Ipad because they can create a sense of "want" instead of "need". They practice opulence cause every year there some new technology they don't mind putting out and hold back on certain things that you might need, but you'll still get cause you can show off. It a practice that every company that sells computer products will do. HP is known for this, they have model practice in which they sell really cheap computers, that have cheap parts in the and before you know it your laptop is broken within 6 months or a year.

not me... i dont hate on them i just think they are overrated and overpriced...they do make great things but i can live without an apple item exception of an ipod of course

If anything, you guys should actually like apple for its hand in creating the marketplace you all enjoy. Android would have never surfaced without the innovations of the iphone. Everybody knows that competition is the best thing to happen to consumers.

The only reason to hate apple is because you hate the people buying their products, which is clearly an insecurity issue that you need to square away with yourself. That's on you.
REALLY?
i didn't even bother reading anything you wrote after that.
Meh, I guess you're right.

Down with Apple, Down with Nike, down with your favorite clothing manufacturer. PETA for life.

You're missing the point, but you didn't care to read the point anyways. Carry on.

foxconn working conditions werent the greatest, but they definitely werent the worst. and from my understanding, theyre contracted to make apple products, but that is not the only product they assemble. apples own employees are supposedly treated very well.

I dont hate them but I think most of their products are over-hyped and thus over-priced. I also hate their fan boys who find it necessary to wait in line for 16 hours to get the latest Apple gadget or who think Macs are so much better than PCs or just throw their money away on the latest Apple crap. Apple arent doing anything wrong but the brainless sheep annoy me.

BTW, I'm not dissing Apple owners or people that own a bunch of different Apple stuff. I know Apple make good products and I own an iPod myself. I'm dissing the people who think they are better than others because of their Apple gear and the people that think products are automatically better if they are made by Apple.

What kind of dumba.ss logic is this? People who dont want to buy something they perceive as being expensive can not afford the product? Really? We aren't talking cars or houses here...the difference in price between your average PC and average Mac is only a couple hundred dollars and I'm pretty confident that the overwhelming majority of people looking to buy a new computer have a couple hundred dollars laying around in disposable income. People still buy PCs because of familiarity, because it has what they need and because there is no need to spend a couple hundred dollars extra on a Mac when you can buy a PC that $++%$ on Macs for less money.

RatX, you're not the only one that hates HP. My first computer was an HP like 10-years ago and to this day they are literally one of the worst companies I've ever dealt with. When I first got the computer I called them in to register my serial code with them and despite calling them regularly over a one year problem due to persistent problems, they never once registered my computer in their system. The computer's fan crapped out on me a few months after buying it and it took them like a month to send someone over to my house to fix it. Eventually the computer just died on me and wouldnt turn on no matter what. After buying that computer I vowed to never buy any HP product ever again.

i don't hate apple.  i just don't like their fanboys or the mindless consumers who automatically assume apple products are the best without doing any research.
i respect them as a company because their marketing is great and it almost seems like a lot of consumers are brainwashed to buy their products.  when a person wants a music player, an ipod is probably at the top of their list.  same goes when purchasing a new phone or laptop, iphones and macbooks are definitely on the list.

On the same boat as a few NT'rs. I personally don't have a problem with them (have the iPhone and iPod myself)..

But the die hard fans definitely irk me..

Hate it or love it, you started a discussion about it... and that's good for Apple.

What ever happened to just not buying the products?

No use for a music player?
And see, that's the problem also. Ppl think "Oh, u need a music player, u need an iPod." Not sayin u in particular Diego but many ppl think that. I bought $40 Phillips mp3 player w/ 4gb of mem and does what I need it to do, play music. I have a phone for all that extra !@!$. Hell, I can even watch videos, upload pictures and all that on it, I just don't.
I personally don't have a problem w/ Apple, I just have a problem w/ the ppl that feed into their "We're really innovative and better than the competition" But I mean sheep will be sheep.  Everybody was gettin them MacBook Pros for like a stack thinkin they got a great deal all

. But they didn't realize that the new i core processors just dropped so they were more than likely tryna get rid of some inventory be for they start spinnin out a new one soon. I only noticed certain "ppl" w/ em but I aint gon go there

Genius marketing, great product design and usability, and a cult-like following. Jobs really turned Apple around in the past 10 years.
Their stock can be iffy though because of Job's iffy health and once he's gone the brand may not have room for growth and the hype may die down in the future.

On an unrelated note, Jobs and Wozniak both went to my high school
