Gettin search and seizured over apple sauce and contact solution isn't justified though. What about them 6 year olds that get patted down because their stuff bear went off?Originally Posted by Toy Collector123
I fly every week. In the airport on Monday and out the airport the following Thursday and I see no problem with TSA.
Everyone who fly often (within my circle of traveling buddies) also don't see the issue. The issues are rose from Grandma Sussie who hasn't flown in 10 years and do not understand the calamity of the threats this nation faces.
If you don't like it, drive, if you're going overseas, take a kayak.
After traveling abundantly overseas, Americans must realize we have it made when it comes to security. Security checks to walk into KFC, Malls, is what's poppin in the Middle East.

you have to pass through security to enter malls in philippines too... eventually it will happen here though. it needs to start somewhere and the airport is the logical place for this to start. once that becomes accepted practice, it'll be easier for the government to spread it to other areas..... that's the problem people really have with it. the technology behind this is powerful. it can be used anywhere, not just airports. it's only a matter of time when something happens justifying changes to laws allowing it to be more widespread....Originally Posted by Toy Collector123

There are a lot of people in this thread going off what they've seen/heard in the media, ironically these are the same people calling everyone else sheep.

I just wonder what the TSA apologists will say when "terrorists" are caught smuggling plastic explosives in their rectum and the only way to catch potential threats is a cavity search. Just to keep you safe, though.
I've noticed is that America seems to be the only country pushing for this. When I go through airports in Europe, I rarely even have to take my shoes off anymore.
I still can't believe Ron Paul is ignored the way he is. This man stays speaking the truth. THIS is terrorism. An attack is an attack. Keeping people fearful is terror.
