Thread about Jesus - Questions, Bible Verses and Prayer Requests

OP are ghosts real?

If so, what's up with the ghosts of the millions of slaves of all colors who were born, suffered, and died under persecution?

Why is it OK to have slaves and impregnate your female family members and kill your wife for working while she's on her period, but it's not OK to masturbate?

Real question: According to Christianity God created Adam and Eve as the first two humans correct? They had children, I assume. Did those kids (brothers and sisters) have children as well and so forth for the population to grow? What's the other religions of the book say about this (Islam and Judaism)?

Do the priests who touch boys have a relationship with him?

You can have a relationship with him but still be a sinner. Just because you are a Christian doesn't mean that you are perfect or will obtain perfection.

They're very disobedient and sick.

I'll leave it at this.  If you want to condemn for eating shrimp, then I can't stop you.
If you seriously want an answer other than what I have brought you, I will research and get back to you. aight?

By no means am I condemning you ach. Im challenging your knowledge of the word. Not outta hate or malice. I just feel you scratching the surface and I wanna encourage you digging deeper. Its all love, hope I aint sound too aggressive. I respect you at least saying you'll look into it.

Why are born agains so preachy? Like you didn't have the will or the strength to stick it through the first time, why should anyone listen to you?

OP when should I take things literally, and when should I take things as metaphor?

Do metaphors exist in the Bible?

Could the story of Creation in six days be a metaphor for a 6 part process?

OP, I believe id God & Christ as you do

But there is one thing Ive learned along the years on the internet & message boards

Religious topics NEVER END WELL

Brave soul you are

god created man, correct and man created the internet, right? well if man was created in gods image and the internet is man made, wouldnt that mean the internet is a gift from god and his word since man writes on it AND was created in Gods image?

Why is it such a big deal to God that people be specifically Christian?

Like, does being a good person not matter if you're not Christian?

Why would the God of the universe, creator of all life care about whether you're Bhuddist or Hindu, as long as you're living your life with the goal of being positive and doing right by others?

If you're a person who has dedicated your life to good, but simply are not Christian, does that make you a bad person?
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him shall not perish, but have eternal life.

If you had creations who were disobedient, blasphemous, perverted, lying, and murderous, wouldn't you fairly judge them.

Nope, cuz you and I are unjust sinners, so what we think doesnt matter.

He gave us his son, as a token of love, a second chance for eternal life. Once we believe in him the righteousness that is God, dwells in us as the Holy Spirit.

Religions are all idol images of what men think God should be.

Unless you trust and believe in the true and Only living God, all works are vanity.

"Wassup,

These days, there is a misrepresentation of Christians spread from the media and the popularity of false conversions. I see that Niketalk (and most of the internet) is filled with Athiesm and other false doctrines, and this is just perfect for me to spread the word of God.

I base my knowledge off the truth, the word of God and the Holy Spirit." - OP

@KingdomFlatbush   I think you forgot these parts...

Not to mention, I was right in my early assessment. That was confirmed as soon as he suggested modern humans have only been around for 6k years.
You don't have to believe in the truth for it to be relative.

I'm just wondering where the part about perverted lying and murderous came from. What if they're none of those things, but they're just Buddhist?

No.

GEN 2:7

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul."

Dust and breath. One from the ground, one from God.
The breath/ spirit is what can connect us to God. It what seperates us from everything else. It is how we are created in His image.

I got a question; why am I cursed? Can people be punished for **** they done in their past life?

A lot of you who have legit questions. I'm going to keep it 100 with you. You aren't going to get the answers you seek. You don't want THE answers, you want OP to explain and justify himself for you.

Brave soul you are

They never do unless everyone is of the same mindset.

Isn't Christianity about forgiveness but doesn't the bible also say eye for an eye? That's a popular outlook of life in the black community but it's frowned upon.

OP why didn't God stop Satan from getting into Eve's ear before it happened?

Freewill

We get an idea. We have a choice to let that idea grow into belief or action. Or just forget about it. Eve entertained it. And here we are.

Did you really just say the earth is 6000 years old because it says so in a book? Well..I guess all of the evidence stating otherwise is just wrong
eyes.gif

Ether you're extremely gullible or purposely turning your head to anything that contradicts the bible.

But my question is if the god you believe in is omniscient and omnipotent, why "create" a species knowing it will not be how you want and send them to hell by default..UNLESS they believe in a human version of himself (who also needs money and your personal freedoms) ? Seem's like a very unjust system bro
Why? He is a merciful God.

Im sure the thought comes "Why are others dead and I am not?" Its because God loves you enough to give you more

chances to turn to him.

We try to idealize how God should be.

The truth is you just don't want to accept the law because you love your sins.

So in response you find reason NOT to accept the truth.

Even if I gave you all the evidence in the world you wouldn't believe.

Cuz God wants us to believe in heart, not our easily deceivable minds.

Once you accept him,

 Old things are passed.

  All things are new.
