OP why did God punish Satan by putting him in charge of what happens to bad people when they die?

OP why is Jesus any better than me? He kept talking about how were all Gods children not just him, and that he's just another dude?

I grew up in the church, but I'm not rocking with religion anymore. I think itz more to it than just believing in a man that died for your sins..I feel like life and the universe are too complex for it to be that simple.

But more power to u op for speaking up for what u believe in..

Great verse. You are not interpreting it correctly. Its not saying you can eat whatever you want ( specially how God says what and what not to eat in Leviticus 11. Contradicting Himself would make no sense since He never changes :Malachi 3:6 "I the LORD do not change)

That verse says "One person's faith allows them to eat anything," the enlarged word anything is talking about food. God defines what food is in Leviticus 11. The verse isn't saying you can eat anything including garbage, or waste. Its talking about any food. Shrimp, pork, shellfish, certain bird are not considered food by God's standards, based off strictly scripture. Just like western civilization doesn't consider rat, dog, or cat food.
I see where your going at.

Most of the laws were based on Judaic culture, since Jews were God's chosen people.

With the arrival of Jesus Christ many of the Old Testament laws were no more.

In John 8, the Pharisees were trying to trick Jesus by bringing an adulterer to be stoned, as Moses' law required. You know the rest of the story.

Just like so, I lead you back to the Roman's verse.

God is the judge of our hearts.

The Lord may convict me of something he might not convict you of.

If I am wrong, then Lord forgive me, but I live by the Spirit.

Damn ya'll ethering this boy thread

He was just trying to help

Thanks for the earlier response OP. And to add to this question, didn't a part of Christianity spread through force (not saying all Christians were forced to convert). Why else is Christianity the number 1 religion by numbers today.

A good quote

They laughed at your clothes; and made you change your clothes, they laughed at your names; and made you change your names; but most importantly they laughed at your God; and made you change your God.” ~ John Henrik Clarke

Also the civilizations part, it's on the wiki page of Noah's Ark, for a simple read. Comparative Mythologies

Also doesn't Leviticus state things like you can't trim your beard, etc? I could be wrong about this though.

OP how long ago did ancient egypt happen? How much rine had passed between adam and eve and moses?

If i came up on a burning bush that says i should be in charge of everyone, does that mean im ordained by God?
Don't know.

Genesis shows the life and genealogy of Adam to Moses, but I just googled it to save time. 1494.

Naw, would just mean you are a false prophet.

For it doesn't go into their heart but into their stomach, and then out of the body." (In saying this, Jesus declared all foods clean.) - Mark 7:19

#stuffchristianssaytodowhatevertheyfeel

You have fallen victim to false teaching. That whole chapter, Jesus is making an argument against the Jewish tradition of washing of the hands. He wasn't going against the law that God ordained and Moses passed down. He talks about the Phairasees placing man made traditions oever Gods law. Believe it or not ( which many act like they dont) Jesus was a Jewish man, so discussing what is considered food (clean/ unclean) is like trying to review why the is blue. Its a forgone conclusion. Read the whole chapter, not just select verses. CONTEXT IS EVERYTHING.

OP is it ok to get your daughters pregnant? Or at least nieces?

Is Buddhism wrong? If so, why?

Is it ok to disagree with stuff from the bible? Like if I'm against slavery, is that OK even if good is cool with God?
Nope. Nope.

Yes. 1st Commandment, Thou shalt have no other God's before me.

Its not okay. God ain't cool with it, Exodus 21:16.

Op

The bible says that a man can't lay with a man like he would with a woman right. So being gay is wrong

But didn't it also say we all gods children and to love your neighbor

What do
Heres what you do?

Become born again in the spirit to become a child of God, then treat your neighbor with the love you'd treat yourself.

Do you plan to go into priesthood?

Have you ever experienced psychedelics?

And lastly, the question we all know the answer to (although it seems most white christians don't...) Was that dude they call Jesus black, brown, or white?

If a Hindu or a Buddhist has a person tell them they should convert to Christianity and they're like "Nah im cool" then are they damned to hell?
We are all going to die, whether we claim a religion or believe we don't. But what makes Christians different is we have accepted the gift of eternal life

through the Son Of God.

So God says one thing, His son comes and says "never mind that'? Give me contextual, untwisted scripture for that please. (For sake of your argument, dont use Matthew 5:17 )

Catholicism and false converts used force.

Matthew 7:22-23 describes many of whom have called themselves Christians without knowing the Lord.

Old laws were passed with the arrival of Jesus on the Earth. Thats one of the reasons the Pharisees and the priests hated him.
