Ligue 1 is a feeder league. Point blank. Before PSG became a billionaire club, the French clubs were lucky if they made it to quarters of the CL. If Ligue 1 is a "class" league then why has it only produced one European Cup/CL champion EVER? Marseille won it in 93 and that's it.

Eh i think the French league is fairly rated. I don't think anyone is saying its the best....but like MLS is a trash league...by that standard Ligue 1 is a very good league.

I watch it when its on BEIN but thats about it

The league is only trash until your favorite teams come through and raid the talent

Its only "trash" because a french team isn't rotating out of the CL final.

James Rodriguez came through a small Colombian club named Envigado, then an Argentine club named Banfield, and then went to Porto. Don't try to claim him as a Ligue 1 product.

You didn't know? If the league doesn't house multiple teams with a 5 star FIFA video game rating then the league is trash and no good.

The Scottish Premier League is trash. The Cypriot League is trash. There are what 40+ pro leagues in Europe?

A league in the upper 90th percentile of domestic leagues on the continent is not trash. Just seems like a poor use of words to me.

To be honest, I would expect him to choose Arsenal over Paris.

Arsenal have more to offer him in terms of the squad. Playing with Alexis and Ozil are strong selling points. Ozil came out and told Arsenal he wants them to sign him.

But, I definitely want to see him in Paris. I think if it came down to a bidding war, Paris would land him because Arsenal has spent a lot over the summer, and their squad isn't as desperate atm given how well the team has been playing. But he'd be a boost to PSG

I read that they might sell Jese to get Draxler tho. Jese's time so far hasn't been that great, but I would still rather them play Jese up front in rotation with Cavani and play Draxler wide opposite of Lucas. Di Maria right behind the striker. Would be enough to win the league. Draxler is a young stud and I definitely want to see him at PSG. We need that speed up front
