I don't know how the warriors fall in given their dynasty was largely attributable to a random cap spike allowing them to create a team not otherwise possible. without kd, they only won 1, and literally every team they played that postseason was missing players. it wasn't until KD that they became unstoppable.

1. Kobe/Shaq Lakers (3 outta 4, 3 peat, 01 run legendary)
2. Warriors (3 outta 5, 17 run legendary)
3. Spurs (only cause they never won b2b which all dynasties have) but I guess their 3 in 5 is hard to ignore
4. Heatles
5. Kobe/Pau Lakers

Spurs #3??? 3 in 5??? You TRIPPING. All homegrown talent. It’s actually 5 rings in 20 years. 99-2020. Plus the fact the set the record for consecutive 50 win seasons.......

Prior to Bron no lol Wasn’t no one trying to come to Miami willingly especially those 2 years after Shaq lol

They didn't have cap for 1 and 2 go look at the free agent classes in 2008 and 2009...and tell me who it is that "wasn't trying to come"

Warriors dynasty is not better than Spurs. It’s Lakers/Spurs then everyone else battling for third. Spurs overlapped two different eras also....

They just need beds made out of pallets to complete the fyre fest aesthetic.

Lakers won 5 in 10 years (beating the Spurs down in most of them) so if you wanna move them ahead of the Dubs, I guess. But they won in 03, 05, and 07 which would be when I consider their dynasty to have taken place. Dubs also won 3 in 5 years too with a legendary run and the greatest talent assembled which is why I have them the nod.

At 2/4 consecutive finals including a repeat at the very worst the heat broke even which I can’t see how you can consider a disappointment

honestly the "light years ahead" Warriors are more of a disappointment.

Only won 1. Needed KD for the other two. shame.

This is bold and interesting. I understand the difference between the 14-16 Warriors and the 16-19 Warriors but it’s difficult to separate them when evaluating them as dynasty. We need to keep in mind that if they win in 2016 then they likely don’t KD and might not win another.

So the Warriors won 1/2 with their Lightyears Core (losing in 2016 was 100%) then 2/3 with The Super Villians. Despite KD and Klay’s injuries in 2019, I guess overall that is disappointing?

I thought the Heatles COULD win 3 when they all signed. Thinking they could do 4 in what was potentially only going to be 4 years, which no one had done since the Celtics in the 60s when the league wasn't remotely the same, is silly. That's on YOU if you expected something like that.

They came away with only 2 in 4 finals appearances because you can't win a title if one of your 2 best players isn't going to be good. You can look at the 2016 Warriors and 2008 Lakers as other examples of that.

Not the best possible outcome, but FAR from a failure.

We also SWEPT y’all in 1999. Y’all also swept us also the following year but the series always broke even

You’re moving the goal post. When did this conversation become centered around them winning 4 in 4 years?

Were the 16 Warriors missing 2 starters like the 08 Lakers were?

I think to predict ANY number of titles from Heatles means you had to know how many years they would even be together.

Again, that is why it is foolish to listen to, "Not 1, Not 2, Not 3" as a legit standard for what was expected from them.

They were all signed to a minimum 4 years together. 2 was the minimum most were expecting given what they pulled off in putting 3 top 15 players in their prime together.

It's like when KD signed with GS in some aspects. They were expected to win every year for those 3 seasons.

I'm moving the goal post how? The topic was whether they were a "failure" or not. I'm just trying to grasp how people are defining that. Seems like a lot of folks are focused on what was said at the stupid parade.

Since they said what they said at the parade, not winning 3 or more in 4 years is a failure?

You DO understand 5/20 doesn't work in favor of your argument right?

A warriors team.... with Steph, Klay and Draymond IS NOT BEATING a spurs team of David Robinson, Duncan, Ginobili, Parker, Kawhi, Bruce Bowen, Sean Elliot, Speedy Claxton, Diaw, etc.

OUR HOME GROWN STARS ALONE ARE BETTER. Every free agent we got was a role player.

GS added a guy like KD, c’mon bruh

20 years of consistency. 5 rings. Warriors were mediocre, got good for 5 years, plus added KD, now they better? Lmao.

Not to mention San Antonio isn’t even a destination city. And we still wrecked. Let’s see if GS gets 2 more rings :lol :lol
