The idea of Pat P is better than Pat P himself


The Clips 2nd unit will be some combination of Lou/Shamet/Harkless/Mcgruder/Harrell. I don't see a realistic path towards him playing anyway.

But depth matters in today's NBA more than it ever has w/injuries, load management, and how good players / teams are today so even 2Pat, someone who figures to be an end of the bench guy, will be asked to contribute at some point this season and this is where the signing bothers me a little. Even a seemingly inconsequential signing like this can end up costing you a game at some point during the season.

I think he's washed af but hopefully that won't be the case with the Clips and the 20 or so games where we actually need him to hit shots lol
 
Damn shame. Wanted to see the Clippers bust his *** 4 times this season.
 
Patterson beyond washed. His "skillset" was much needed in OKC and he couldn't even see the court.

Wonder how the Lakers recover from this. I’ve been hearing day after day how big of an impact Boogie was gonna have on that team. Huge loss for them.
