Anyway we can compile a list (w/ links) to all the new music as it drops? Please? I would but Im barely in this thing...

You wylin' Nick :lol go ahead and listen.

And exactly what Gordon said.. Thursday >>>>>>.. It's weird too because I don't like heaven or LV and life of the party but everything else is just ridiculous.. There aren't any tracks I don't like on HOB or EOS..

Thursday(His best album IMO)
QFMFT

Reason I never liked EOS was bc of the delivery.

HOLV is piff, especially with the guitar.

LOTP always reminds me of a trippy circus or carnival, with females, booze, and drugs.

House of Balloons > Echoes of Silence > Thursday

House of Balloons is absolutely beautiful. It sounds like the most amazing yet heartbreaking weekend ever. It begins with him getting lifted and gaming the chick on "High For This" and "What You Need". "House of Balloons/ Glass Table Girls" is the sinister, extremely wild Friday night out filled with ample sex, drugs and drinks. "The Morning" is that period after waking up. Hungover, reflecting on all the craziness. Maybe swearing that you're going to give this life up. Only to fall back into it with another drink, or another quickie with "Wicked Games". From there, it's back into the deep end, "The Show & The After Party" makes me think of someone just being so high they're on a completely different planet. Very abstract visuals trying to coerce the female into his harem. The transition to "Coming Down" is flawless. In a drunken stupor, coming down off your high, maybe finding out one of your reliables has something going on. "The Knowing" is straight Sunday morning, detox from all the debauchery music.

I initially didn't like Echoes of Silence until the remastered version surfaced. This is definitely the darkest of the three tapes. My absolute favorite Weeknd song is "The Fall". It sounds like a horror movie / dark rock, creepy jungle atmosphere. Just beautiful. "Montreal", "Next", etc are all pretty cool as well.

You don't like heaven or LV? :eek

That's one of my favorites. Dude is saying he's done following the conventionality of daily life. He's gonna **** *******, do hella drugs, and do whatever he wants since he, and no one else, is in control of his life. Or that's what I interpret from it any way. :lol

Same with LOTP. I just picture a girl that shows up to a party and does all the drugs, drinks all the alcohol, and lets a couple of dudes hit that night. Then when the sun comes up, she's the first person to be heading out because she doesn't want to be reminded of the night before. And as she's leaving, she sees all the folks still passed out on the floor, having flash backs of the crazy **** that took place.

Thanks, now I'm listening to Thursday :lol

HOB will forever be my favorite just for the fact that it got me into his music. Mostly hearing High for this. I had that song on repeat forever...still one of my favorites.

But i remember the exact time and place i was when i first heard The Zone.
Same thing with DD. I remember it coming on and me being like NO....NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!! had me like

I can't do it man. At least not on my own :lol. I'll probably hear em this weekend at my boys house during the day before we go out. Regardless I'm probably gonna cave in and listen to them sometime this month though.
