Not excited about a song that has an obvious sample. That melody i only know as portishead, its always weird or hard to get into a song that has a obvious sample that you only associate with the original artist.

It depends, he has a real obvious Beach House sample and it doesnt take away from the song. I would wait for the studio version before worrying. I love Portishead tho, so i feel you

Thats true, though i feel the beach house samples were better integrated into the songs, and messed with enough that it didn't just sound like a re-hash of the original and was blended in nicely. but hey, hopefully it turns out i was just *****ing and the studio version is great.
