Everything made sense up until Club Silencio scene (well mostly) and then nothing made sense after that
The first half seems like a fantasy/Dream of Betty/Diane. I'm starting to think the 2nd half was more of a nightmare/reality. I'm still not sure if she really killed herself, the whole part seemed more like a nightmare state. Unless she was on something and hallucinating.
Very first thing that came to my mind when I saw the box was "That's pandora's box".
Now everything in between, Im not sure how to puzzle together
I was kinda lost on why Adam and Betty were staring at each other for so long while "Camillia" was auditioning for that role. I guess it shows in a sense Diane's fantasy world. On the reality side, Adam is taking Camillia away from her but in the first half she is a stellar actress and Adam can't take his eyes off her while not paying any mind to "Camillia". While Rita is in waiting in need of Diane waiting back at the apartment.
I guess Rita in the first half of the movie cant remember anything because she's purely created by Diane. She's helpless and in need of Diane. I guess the problem lies that the truth behind Rita crossed over into the dream state which eventually led to them finding a dead Diane and opening the box. The fantasy was never purely bliss. In the dream state, Diane is superb actress, when "Rita" isnt one to begin with.
I think the involvment of the mob showed even in Diane's dream state of her being this stellar talent, who gets chosen is still controlled by gangsters and such in Hollywood. I cant remember if they showed anything about them having significance on the 2nd half of the movie and if they controlled the real Camillia.
Everything goes to **** when the blue box is opened. Diane is a real struggling actress, she's dependent of Camillia for roles, Camillia uses her for attention/sex/etc. Even in the scene at the dinner party where she kissed the blonde chick showed that the feeling between the two (Camillia and Diane) was probably never mutual. She replaced her at that moment, on top of getting engaged to Adam.
I have no idea who the hell the old people are at all
The old hobo/goblin thing. I'm not sure what the hell that represents in the bigger picture either. Maybe death? Ultimate fear?
I dont understand fully where the Cowboy comes into place. He seems to have more control of what's going on than I initially thought. I can't remember how many times he appeared in total, but seeing him twice = bad things makes it seem like he's some sort of indicator of when the dream ends and reality sets in.
There's alot more ****, like the old paralyzed dude, the hitman, the other blue key, the blue van that hooker gets into...I'm going to have to watch it again (or maybe a few times)

@Antidope no idea, but it was released this year in February after being out before, so I think they've added a lot of new cards. the version I have has "over 2000 cards".
