People are just very selfish. Because that's what routine drinking and driving comes down to, you're selfish. And it's also the problem many have with alcohol. They can't control themselves or they choose not to. I know some who drink to excess every time. If that's who you are, then party on, Wayne.. but make a plan and take a cab home or have a DD. If that's who you are and  you plan on driving home at the end of the night, then you're saying that putting others in danger is less important than you being responsible.

If you're with a group of people who routinely go out, then it's even dumber. Just use a designated driver... then switch each time. If you're going to the bar or club by yourself, then either pace yourself and stop the last hour, or take a cab/public transportation home.

Can someone explain how the LA Kings hats got so popular? I've seen tons of celebrities people with them, and they're a hockey team. 
Conversely, I've never really seen anyone rock a Sacramento Kings snapback before and they're have better colors and at least play basketball.
