Good thing I axed that question because I would not have been able to realize that.

My prototype of an axe is this.

To be fair it doesn't look like an axe or like one should look. Hell I wouldn't know if it wasn't for my affinity for Gerber blades.  It was a huge blunder for Gerber and one that they probably would like to forget. Most likely had major design flaws that would have cost them big bucks.  Ryda if you want something compact for camping get the mini or the gator with  knife in the handle.
