So Robutussin suppose to suppress your cough, and loosen phlem and whatnot. Why do I feel like im coughin more now after taking the Robutussin yaking all this phlem out.

The goal is to eliminate excess mucus. Can only do that through coughing/blowing nose. I find mucinex to be more effective honestly

Woudnt Mucinex make me cough more? Or the idea is get the phlegm out asap by coughing it out.
