When playing Spiderman or RDR2, I have to wear headphones to drown out my Pro. They can give me $100 and I'd be fine with it

I might be in the minority but I’d rather wait a year or two before going next gen cuz
A) they start dropping limited edition systems later in the cycle
B) memory capacity and overall flow of the console is better

you rush to cop a ps5 and it might be obsolete midgen lol

Past 2 gens I've had no problems with buying a OG Fat 60GB launch PS3 then getting a PS3 slim and now this gen getting a launch PS4 and now having a white PS4 Pro.

Only broke boi's and broke college kids stay on and hope a launch Playstation console lasts an entire 7 year life span without dying on them

Sold my day 1 launch PS4 to my boy and got the pro and it's still going strong every time I visit.

I find that my pro isn't loud but it's got a certain pitch to it that's annoying.
I play with headphones all the time so I don't hear it until I'm ready to switch off but still.

so the wife let me set up an office upstairs and I built a new PC rig and an utlrawide to go with it. Then realized the ps4 doesn't support 1440p and honestly I think I'm gonna game on the PC more since majority of my bro's just built one too #stimulus. So I feel like I don't need it anymore but its supposedly limited so idk .

If you don't have to play Ghosts or TLOU at launch then the PS5 will probably be a better companion to your PC then the pro.

I'd rather be able to play on the PS5 day one (buy an extended warranty if you're that concerned) than wait for limited edition colors/designs.

I really think Sony finally figured out what to do & not do with the PS5.

2018 got a used Uncharted PS4 for $90 with 6 games and a controller from some dude who had a newborn so he didn't play it. It's always been quiet and runs like a dream.
For me it only makes sense to jump to the PS5 day 1, especially with BC. I still have a TON of games to play on the PS4, the only thing that might suck is waiting for games I refused to buy this Gen. Control.FF7R.TLOU2.GOT.CP2077

Just depends how much you care about playing the game right away. Granted I just got back in to gaming after a long hiatus.

After I cop I might not even play it continuously for a month or two.

Plus I'm tired of paying full price for games that will drop 20% in price a year (or two) later or w/e.

Um thinking I'll buy a grip of ps4 games to hold me over for the ps5 exclusives I really want but gonna pay full price for.

Gonna have to look at the new release schedule but I'm looking to stack together a grip of movies I want to see first day back so I may have to wait 2 or 3 weekends.

Hopefully 4 or 5 movies in a day.

And that's the other thing with the games. Its working perfectly now cuz I'm only watching shows currently airing and old movies I haven't seen and everything else is playing but once I'm back to work and the the theaters open up even less time.
