The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

Infamous is a great series. An open-world superhero game that was good before we had Spiderman.

Original is the best, followed by 2. Second Son was good, and so was its DLC (First Light). Some people disliked the new character in Second Son, but the gameplay was great.

Has anyone played the infamous games? Are they any good?
the most recent entry into the series was definitely made with the goal of showing off ps4's capability when it was new. lots of mechanics they made u do that served NO point except to show off the ps4, like having to shake your controller like a spray paint can. and the light bar was your nozzle lol. but it was a cool game still. would love for its cousin to come out with another entry (prototype series) on next gen.

Love InFamous. Only one I didn't play was the Vampire one. Got the plats in the 4 others.

That being said, Infamous 1 has not aged very well in terms of graphics but it still plays well and has one of the best origin stories and best story of all of them IMO.

16 player party chat seems like it would be too hectic. Some of my brother's parties are full with 8 people and I mute most of them :lol

I'm amazed Watch Dogs has survived long enough to possibly become a trilogy of games.................the first game was so damn overrated that I traded that SOB in to Gamestop the moment Destiny 1 was released.

Watch Dogs is one of the few "open world" games that actually bored me to death, and I'm still amazed ppl like it after many ppl criticized that Watch Dogs was an overrated, over-hyped POS

Why you surprised it's made by Ubisoft. The second worst gaming company in the industry behind EA.

I gotta give credit to Ubisoft this gen.

They’ve done well with their main franchises (-splinter cell) and have put out varied and unique titles as well.

Solid and consistent output.

EA was awful this gen.

Ubisoft gave us 2 very solid franchises this gen and last - Assassin's Creed and Far Cry. With that, I give them tons of credit.

For how many iterations there are of both franchises a lot of it is just rehashed and redundant
AC picked it up last two games at least

I'd add Trials (Fusion and Rising), South Park, Steep, and Valiant Hearts as great games Ubisoft has made this gen.

Rocksteady won't be at E3. :frown:
I'm thinking that that maybe WB Montreal is going to show a new Batman game. I believe the rumor was Arkham Universe which was supposed to focus on the Court of Owls and wrap the series up. Maybe Rocksteady is holdin back to see what Square does with Avengers :emoji_thinking:
