I was in the same boat as you a few years ago... I hear ya, but I stuck with it. I wanted to experience the entire journey... and I enjoyed it. Plus it was cool seeing how the game improved.

I played the uncharted series in reverse order(3-2-1 on pS3) just because
2 may still be my favorite, but 4 was a great way to close everything up I also really liked his bro and the scenes when they're younger and the convos they have while you're playing show how Naughty Dog applied that type of storytelling from TLOU to this.

I loved it. I must've put over 100 hours into it (did almost my whole playthrough nonlethal too). Got S rank on every mission. Probably the thing I spent the most time on was upgrading my base. It got addicting
Man I LOVE MGS5
It's one of the games(a long with TLOU) that I'm debating on if I should re buy for the PS4 or just keep it purely new stuff.
LOL, is it basically an unfinished game....yes, but damn what an unfinished game it is. I remember I finished and played the game extensively with my PS3 offline and when I played while signed on
all these crazy rewards started coming in on crap i had unknowingly did.
I liked teaming up with DDOG and Quiet the most but the horse was dope to take out tanks and the robot was cool for when you upgrade to shooting that sticky crap that automatically sends soldiers to your base
I'm already a prisoner of the moment though when it comes to a new MGS game, I LOVE them all
not sure if I want to replay that intro section of 5 though

I still haven’t played Lost Legacy and Uncharted 4. Both games are pretty cheap now, so probably within the next few weeks I’ll pick them up

lol now I'm debating skipping Uncharted 1. I like the story and gameplay is kinda cool, the controls just feel extra clunky. Maybe I'll just stick it out since it seems I'm over halfway through. Maybe I'll appreciate the subsequent games that much more.

I do this with a lot of games to this day because back in the day my family didn’t get us the PlayStation/N64 era, so we had to watch videos of my brother’s friend playing games (FF7, MegaMan X4, etc). I completely support it.

Lol I suck so I'm playing on Normal I think. Maybe I'm exaggerating and the game isn't terrible.
The thing is I'm concurrently playing Horizon Zero Dawn, God of War, and I'm coming off beating Spider-Man. And they're all much better games imo.
I do typically like this type of game (I've beaten and enjoyed the first two Tomb Raider games) so I'm hopeful that the series will pick up from here.
Seeing the responses in here makes me want to just power through Uncharted 1. Maybe I'll turn down the difficulty just to make things easier for myself

idk man, story is iight. But like I said, the gameplay hasn't aged well to me. I'm sure if I played it back in 2007, or whenever it first released, I'd like it a lot more.
Right now I'd have to say Tomb Raider is better. Maybe my opinion will change as I play more Uncharted.

I watched Last of us on youtube. Great decision. I’m not always tryna spend 50 hours playing a game.
