have you played Ys VIII? I see it’s on sale but only $42. I’ve been wanting to check it out but not sure if I wanna spend that much.

Think your talking about the sdm or outlaw. I hate the desert ending circle, so much sniping out there. High ground definitely gives the advantage but my ABR always loses to the bolt action rifles in long range gunfights. Clusters need to be taken out like the 9 bang, RIP if you’re in a building and one of those comes through the window.Got my first solo W in my very first game and never played solo again.
I found it much easier to do well solo in Blackout then in Fortnite. No building makes a huge difference.
My suggestion would be to always use high-ground. I found it makes such a huge difference in Blackout. When the circle ends in the desert, I always try to find a larger rock to use as cover so I can climb and get the jump on people.
Focus should just be on med kits, level 3 Armour, and your favorite gun. The single shot tac rifle (forget the name) is by far my favorite. You can drop almost anyone in 3 shots.

I consider myself a decent COD player ... Was deep in the NT sessions on MW 1&2 ... Probably middle of the pack to above average every game ... Went to pubg when the battle royale caught steam after Fortnite ... Now, Blackout is my every night lover ... I carry my squad so my K/D isn't that great - I think I'm at 1.53 right now ... We win at least once a night in squads ...
Seems like everyone runs like hell after the first solo W. It’s hella annoying to play, half the lobby are scary campers that just sit there until circle collapse listening to footsteps. I’ve gotten dubs running solo duos and squads(admittedly let squads take each other other out and cleaned up the remains) because the playstyle is much more loose.
