The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

@pmpdaddyrobford I just did what you said and purchased a $60.00 Digital Card and a $20.00 Digital Card from Amazon. I had a gift card balance of $10.01 so I paid $69.99 for the two Digital Codes. Thank you for the information; I appreciate it:nthat:

Same, being an adult is tough.

^ i hate it, red dead needs focus man and being grown u have to multi task so much ****

It def makes me appreciate the game that much more tho when I do get to play :lol. Immersion is next level, and I don’t have the gameplay criticisms I’m seeing in here. Feels like there’s so much side content I don’t feel like I’ll run out of new **** to do before I finish the story. So I can take my time. Might **** around and still be playing the story through next yr

Red Dead pacing makes The Witcher look like God of War

That is why I agree with Gamespot’s review. Gave the game a 9 added that the immersion can actually take you out of the game mentally as a con.

Its genuinely exhausting juggling all these things that need to be done along with your hobbies.

I can't even imagine how you parents do it.

Bruh not only am i a parent i have a newborn.

So when i hop on rdr2 i have a short amount of time before the little one needs help

So this sluggish gameplay no help bout time i ride the horse somewhere im putting the controller down again

Glad i got fast travel but sucks you can only travel from camp.

Tight, bought a $150 horse, did some exploring in some wilderness (yes still didnt explore whole map, didnt even open the included map yet) tried to go up a hill my horse ended up falling and getting hurt

Had to leave him :smh didnt have no horse revive and the closest town was wild far

$150 down the drain

Pretty crazy article on Vita software sales...

NPD Reveals the Top-Selling U.S. Vita Games List, and It’s Not Pretty
PlayStation Vita is known by many as the little handheld that could. Seemingly against all odds, the Vita kept on pushing through, maintaining a loyal, yet relatively small, fanbase. The NPD Group recently revealed the ten best-selling Vita titles in the United States, and the decision to end production on the Vita is becoming a little more clear.

Here are the best-selling PlayStation Vita games in the U.S.:

  1. Uncharted: Golden Abyss
  2. Call of Duty: Black Ops Declassified
  3. Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation
  4. Mortal Kombat (2011)
  5. Little Big Planet
  6. Need for Speed: Most Wanted (2012)
  7. Killzone: Mercenary
  8. Persona 4 Golden (physical sales only)
  9. Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
  10. Unit 13
Perhaps the most fascinating, yet upsetting, thing about this list, is that these are all very early Vita titles. Killzone: Mercenary is the only title released outside of 2012 to make it on this list, and that released in 2013.

In addition, these are all the high-profile, console-quality games that the Vita promised in its early years. It later became a haven for JRPGs and indie games, though the only RPG on the list is Persona 4 Golden.

In addition, ResetEra admin ZhugeEx chimed in with some somewhat shocking news. Uncharted: Golden Abyss only managed to sell around 400K units in its lifetime. When combined, the sales for all ten games is roughly that of Marvel’s Spider-Man on the PlayStation 4 during the almost two months after its September 7, 2018 launch.

It may not have necessarily been a sales success, but the Vita is beloved by many. Despite the struggles it faced in its lifetime, the Vita managed to carve itself a place in history.

MK9 was :pimp: on Vita

Nightwolf all day

Nintendo absolutely nailed the Switch :eek. They failed with the Wii U though so I am sure that is why. My point is, I don’t understand why Sony can’t get the handheld platform right.

Using Nintendo of an example of why another company can’t get handhelds right isn’t the best example :lol

PUBG appears on PS4 database

It's confirmed that PUBG is coming to PS4. it's in my PS4 Game Database. Don't know when it's coming out, but it's already on Sony servers, hosting the game image and Content-ID for the psn store

What would be the better holiday PS4 game this season? Spider-Man or Black Ops 4?

Thanks, fellas.

I would choose Spiderman but it's all about what you think you would play more. I beat Spiderman and enjoyed it. I stopped playing Call of Duty years ago.

Vita has gems on it, especially if you're into JRPG's.

The only thing truly trash about Vita is the SD card situation.

If Sony didn't use overpriced proprietary SD cards, Vita would've done much better and they should have learned this lesson with the PSP.
