The Old PlayStation Thread | *NEW THREAD IS UP*

I seriously don’t get how people this console gen need more than a 2TB internal hard drive

Anything bigger than that on internal PS4 hard drive or if u require a external hard drive, then you must be a serial game hoarder or strictly digital only game buyer

I am guilty. 3TB almost full.

I mean u realize a lot of the free crap games both Sony & Microsoft release on PS+ or Xbox Live Gold you have the option to "add to library" and don't have to download and install on your console hard drive immediately and can add it later.

Serious question but what happens and do u become suicidal if your hard drive dies ? Yes I know you have the option to re download everything on your PSN history. But damn that's a sh*t ton of data and most ISP companies nowadays have a 1TB month data cap.

Also I know the digital game hoarder must be seriously WEAK when a PSN flash sale pops up every month

Sports game wise you know there is some digital hoarder that has every yearly edition of MLB The Show, Madden, or NBA 2K saved to their hard drives.

Heck I know dudes and have seen on the internet game forums that collectors and game hoarders have every single physical copy from each year Madden has existed or with EA NHL.

Son. This is NT.

Everyone on this site struggles when something is on sale

Especially now we have real disposable income. Yo it’s a wrap

Can someone clarify this GameStop PS4 Pro Red Dead deal to me?

If I trade in my launch PS4 they’re giving me $175 plus credit for a the bundle?

The Witcher 3 didn't, so why would one assume that they'd produce a game inferior to that?
Probably because The Witcher 3 looks and plays better than any game developed by Bethesda. Their games are ugly. The Witcher 3 set the standard for open world western RPGs. Of course this is all my opinion :lol

I’m going to go back and platinum it and I’m not looking forward to that win 50 tower defense battles trophy.

It's actually not that bad. Stick to four diverse generals (sword, shield, magic/spear, and arrow) and play them in order of difficulty and you should be fine. It's just a bit of a time sink and the items you get are basically useless.

Vidya games (although I been really scaling back to travel), sneakers (again scaling back), tech, and (sorta) weed :pimp:

Perhaps. I play between 60-80 games a year so the turnover is pretty good. Once I beat a game I delete it.

I just feel like if they weren't installed, I would forget about them.

How you finding the time to play that many games my G?

I'm in my 30s and I'm at maybe 2-4 games a year (first playthrough on normal and then on the hardest or second hardest difficulty) before work and other social activities pop up.

Do you play on easy difficulty and skip on the collectibles, side quests, etc...? I'm not into trophies or 100% completion but I usually play till 80-90% completion.

I usually play each weekday from 6:30-9ish and when I can fit it in on the weekends. Most sports I play start around 9pm, while my wife coaches volleyball and basketball so is also out of the house around the same times. Family stuff comes first and is almost always weekend/Sundays.

I am usually going after trophies, so I play through games while keeping those requirements in mind. I rarely play through multiple times (unless its something I really enjoy) and almost always play on normal difficulty.

Games like COD, Fortnite, or Destiny 2 really throw a wrench in so I usually only play those when I have friends that jump on.

Going off PSN Profiles, it looks like I have played 55 so far this year.

In other words, the game is gonna run like something you’d see on PS2
For some reason I thought your comment was on Cyber Punk 2077. I 100% agree with you, FO4 didn't look that great and FO76 looks only marginally better, which isn't saying much.
