The point is installing a full game off a disc is faster than downloading a full game off PSN or Xbox Live.

I've honestly had no problem with fully going digital. Made my life easier if anything. This "What about when the PS5 comes out?" fear is silly.
I got a PS4 and my 360 didn't stop working all of a sudden. I highly doubt my PS4 will when the PS5 drops. No guarantee of backwards-compatibility anyways.

It's 2018, if you have 1gb down you need to do somethin else wit your lifeNot true.
A ton of people in the USA and the rest of the world don’t have access to fast enough and stable internet connections.
Hell even with a 300MB or 1 GB download or fiber internet connection it takes at least 4 hours to download a full game that’s 50GB’s or larger. Even with pre loading a game 2 or 3 days before it releases is dumb.
Good luck with next gen and digital only when games are even larger
I only have a 80-100 down and 50 gigs maybe takes like 45 min.

All-digital is stupid. Half of the Xbox Live Arcade games on my Xbox 360 are gone forever. I managed to download them while they were available, but if you want to buy them today, tough luck.
I remember the physical release of Marvel Vs Capcom 2 (a case with a card that had the download code in it) for PS3 went for hundreds of dollars after the game was taken off the marketplace.
Even this generation, you have an awesome game like Transformers: Devastation that isn't available anymore. Or at least it wouldn't be if there weren't physical copies of it. I'm not even sure if you can re-download this game if you temporarily deleted it from your hard drive to free up some space.
Also, good luck with re-selling your digital-only games.
That was one of the reasons I switched to PS this generation, the fact that the morons at Microsoft were saying that you would need to verify your copy via an Internet connection, log in every 24 hours and crap like that.
Nobody is going to take the option of downloading the game away from you, if you prefer short term convenience over long term security. I just want both options to be available.

I’m pretty sure if you’ve purchased a game before, you can always delete and redownload it later. At least that’s how it works on PS4.

Yeah I thought it was the same with X1 just wasn’t too sure. I actually kept all my 360 arcade games too. Symphony of the Night, Sonic 1 & 2 all were able to be downloaded on my X1S.
