Contemplating picking up Spidey

Just looks a bit too “been there done that” considering I’ve beaten all the Arkham games. Thinking a better move would just be to hit the backlog (Bloodborne, Nioh, or Lost Legacy. I already own all of them.)

Advice from those who have played it?

Just make sure when you play bloodborne to take lots of breaks.


You have to have alot of patience.

Make sure there is no glass around because you will want to break something playing this game.

Bloodborne is tied with Uncharted 4 for best game of this generation imo. That being said, Spider-Man is my current GotY. It has some similarities to the Arkham games but I think Infamous, Arkham, Spider-Man are have similarities that come from being 3rd person open world superhero games. Spider-Man is much more fun to play compared to Arkham imo.

GoW is a little overrated imo. Actually overrated might not even be the right word. I just don’t think it was as revolutionary as some make it out to be.

I felt like the best fight was the first encounter with Baldur. I kept looking for that next high but was left disappointed.

NT ps4 fam, need some help. Copped the spider-man ps4 pro when spidey dropped and everything's been gravy until yesterday. I started playing the last of us remastered and I noticed some white flashing on screen, thought it was intentional but it's not. Then I thought it was my TV but it only happens when I play games. Any help? Never happened with my old pro

I think the part of me that doesn’t want to have to focus so intensely on a game has kept me away, I’m sure I can deal with the difficulty. Just don’t know if I want to have that stress. Now might be the time though.

Man the story is really good I was surprised

Almost done with the main story I'm at 96% overall

Possibly, the console is like 2 weeks old. Got scared and thought it was my TV, bought it just about a year ago. Not trying to buy another TV already.

Yikes! I've heard praise for Bloodborne but what you're describing doesn't quite sound like fun at all.

Bloodborne was torture to me. I never made it past that giant dog nun or whatever it was. Spent like 30 minutes dodging,slashing it in the @#$, and bringing it down to near death, only for the cheating hit detection causing the creature to hit me 2-3 times from across the room and kill me immediately. This happened 5-6 times before I just gave up

I agree. I did not have fun playing any of the Arkham games.

Spider-Man is refreshing and the storyline is great.
