This is why I've been skeptical. I too thought ME1 was a snoozefest. I guess it'll depend on how long it takes me to finish Horizon Zero Dawn.

I played through it in a week back when it first came out. Yes, it's not the best Souls game, but it's still probably good enough for that price.

it's like a souls game that was made to act like one but wasn't really. Like if a studio wanted to make their own souls game, that's it.
The main guy that was at the helm for every other game was busy making Bloodborne at the time. So you can see and feel the 2nd string

I am, just beat the main missions last week. Haven't touched the extra missions yet. Game is
. Turning off the hints really makes the game much more difficult. Would put more time into it, but Overwatch.

Mass Effect as a trilogy is amazing. Purely the best series I've ever played, even accounting for the **** ending. Gotta blow through Horizon or put it on hold ASAP

Also my fav series ever. Honestly, I just treat the Citadel DLC as the real ending to the Shepard trilogy. Thought it was more fitting as an ending with some fan service thrown in there as well.
Andromeda will be a day 1 purchase.
And to those that weren't too high on ME1, it's understandable. You'd be perfectly fine just starting at ME2 really. The Genesis comic brings everything up to speed.

Yes. Way more in depth from story to playing mechanics. Not knocking Nathan but let's keep it a buck Uncharted is pretty basic compared to ME.Better than Uncharted

I can't really speak on ME outside of the first one which I thought was extremely boring. Game mechanics and story aside, if a game is boring to me I could care less about it. I enjoyed all the Uncharted games and stories so for me Uncharted > ME. Andromeda gameplay looks smooth and fun so I'm excited for it. If the story is good that'll be even betterUncharted is GOAT series from last gen

Low key Souls 2 might be my favorite one. Maybe because the amount of time I put into it, and the amount of times I died in the Gutter [emoji]128557[/emoji]

tough one to compare to for me lol. i love them both equally i think. ME2 and 3's game mechanics are pretty simple too when they moved away from the RPG elements of ME1 but i cant say i love one franchise more than the other

part of my problem in the beginning i was trying to be overly aggressive, realized a more defensive/counter attack style is better for me.
