I waited until I had 100% install and still had to play the Spurs/Heat game, the game is only 6 min quarters tho so play the game to get your feet wet, then you'll be able to play any mode with any team.

You don't have to play the Spurs v Heat at all. I'm not really sure why you guys have to do that but I preloaded and had the full game available to me right after midnight.

Remembered I had Need For Speed collecting dust, called GS and surprisingly they gave me $17 for it.

I'm not great at giving reviews so here are my thoughts.

Graphics are nice. Few things I don't like, driving towards the sun is annoying because you get that same type of glare that you'd get in real life. There's no option to turn on headlights.

Driving - Within the first minute of driving I realized it wasn't going to be anything like NFS as far as drifting. I hit so many walls trying to turn corners. I know they said it wasn't suppose to be a sim but it definitely feels like one to me.

I'm only at level 7 right now, doing the tour mode. I can already see the faster the car the more difficult it'll be to drive on the tracks with lots of turns (I unlocked a Maseratti* and learned).

Overall, I'm not super excited but I feel like there's potential and I think playing multiplayer will be fun. There isn't an option to lower or increase the difficulty, I thought that was weird but I like the challenge.

I'll probably end up getting the steering wheel next week. Hopefully that helps, lol


EDIT - Forgot to add, the penalties are ridiculous. If someone hits you you get penalized. Cut a corner, penalized. Stupid.

 i honestly am not a fan of the game.i had been waiting for this game to release all year and to me it was a bid disappointing.. as metioned the penalties are really dumb and the car list is lack luster IMO.. if u get a chance rent it first i regret buying it now and will trade it in soon.. the graphics on the game are top notch i will give it that..
