Yeah just finished the devils lair with randoms
all of us level 6. Once i found out the Spiders brain opens up and you can give it mad damage it was all easy

If you damage it enough, the Spider collapses and his head vents for about 30 seconds. If you hit the glowing red, it does decent damage.

However its about the same as hitting him in the armored legs.

no its not. my sniper does 250 on the legs but 500 on the head

My sniper was doing about 360 to the legs and around 400 to the head. I didnt think it was that big a difference. 

Maybe Im getting the sniper and rocket damage mixed up.

the rocket dmg sucks. it made no difference, but i saw that the head was 2-3x the leg dmg. so i was putting in at least 2000-5000 dmg everytime the head was open.

You gotta hit those armored legs in order to get him on the floor with head poking out. Whenver one of them breaks he goes down. Often we have people shooting legs form both sides, and he'll go down and after he gets back up he goes down again 5 seconds later when someone breaks another one of the legs.

What sniper are you using? I think I do around 620 damage to its legs with mine.

I'm glad Destiny won't be an annual thing, seeing as how x1 isnt getting their DLC until next year.  I got so tired of having to buy COD every year, thank goodness i snapped outta those sheepish ways, COD was exceptionally trash this year, or so i heard.
